February is national canned food month, and even the snobbiest of food snobs out there must surely purchase some sort of canned food, such as tomatoes for homemade sauce. In fact canned foods are so common, I wonder if you could identify the brands by looks alone. I took some nationally recognizable canned food brands and blurred out their logos. Can you identify them?

Donna Karan
Vivienne Westwood
OTTO
Im always doing can food drives can ya tell.
1Yeah I expected to get 6 of 6. Except for Dinty Moore - all of those fruit companies have fields and packing plants in my hometown. I grew up watching those trucks and logos go by. Plus when you study graphic design you learn specific companies fonts. Oh and the Dinty Moore can says Dinty Moore right on top too Yum.
2woot woot!6/6
3wow I know my brands. ha ha
4i got the green giant one wrong... i thought the answer was to obvious so i went with garden giant.
5yeah 100% and i dont even live in the states!
6I've never heard of S&W!
7wow, easy! lol
8Two of these brands never heard of before.
93/6 - the last three i have never heard of them
10I missed the first one as I didn't recognize the label and I don't buy beets.
11woohoo! i got them all. but i've never heard of s&w - it must be a regional brand. (it's not in NJ)
12i guess 5 out of 6 isn't bad - the one i got wrong is the beef stew - one that i've never even heard of before
135/6
14I accidently clicked GARDEN Giant instead of GREEN giant! DAMN!
156/6!
166/6 I have never heard of S&W. Where is that sold?
17Never heard of S&W and Dinty Moore. I guess you have to be American (often) to get 6/6 on those quizzes... But I learn a lot!
186/6 COOL! Because I had to guess at a couple we don't have here.
19I've never heard of S&W either. Is it a west coast thing?
206/6 HO,HO,HO Green Giant!
21WOW i got all of them right! I have never heard of S&W before.
22Easy! I have also never heard of S&W.
23I got 6/6. I've never heard of S&W though.
24LOL I got the S&W one wrong because I have never heard of them.
25i sure can't.
26dont live in the states
6/6 I shop too much, even in the grocery store.
27I never heard of S&W either.... but 6/6
286/6 yea!!!!!
29S&W brands are sold across the country according to their website. But they are part of the Del Monte family of foods so some stores may simply carry either Del Monte or S&W. In SoCal and San Fran I see both in the store - S&W being the higher end more expensive brand.
For those unfamiliar with Dinty Moore "Beef Stew" - thank your lucky stars. As far as I can remember it tastes like dog food that's been accidentally marked for humans to eat. We ate it after the 1994 Northridge Earthquake in SoCal cause it requires no cooking at all.
30Never heard of S&W. What region of the country is that from?
31woo hoo 100%
326/6, woohoo!
335/6... Stupid S&W that apparently only one person has ever heard of
34lol tami!
355/6, never heard of Dinty Moore. well actually I've never heard of S&W either but randomly guessed that one right.
365/6, never heard of Dinty Moore. well actually I've never heard of S&W either but randomly guessed that one right.
376/6. I used to volunteer at a food bank, ha.
38FoodieQueen 6/6 WooHoo! S&W is a big brand on the west coast. Eat out of their cans almost daily - from beets (love em) to beans and everything in between. I guess I'm the only west coaster.
39got all the ones that I've had before.
40This was fun! I did awesome!
41Yeah! Got them all right! I use S&W products frequently - I use their beans for the spicy sausage stew/soup I found on YumSugar (which I made last night and it was soooo good!). They're in all the markets around here (N. CA).
42I've never heard of S&W either!
436/6! i'm no canned food snob.
44100% - either I spend too much time in the grocery store - or - I am just an American girl! haha! I think both!
45Not familiar with S&W, but got 6/6.
465/6, the last one got me!
474/6, never heard of s&w or dinty moore?
48I got 6/6 too, even though I have no idea what S&W is. Everything else is in my pantry right now.
49So easy! 6/6
