You Interested in a Bag Full of Bagel-Fuls?

If you're looking for ways to cut time from your morning routine, but instant oatmeal isn't your thing, then you may be interested to hear what Kraft has up their sleeves. Their new creation is called Bagel-Fuls and they're frozen bagels, which are pre-stuffed with cream cheese. The product — which is being referred to as a "hand-held breakfast sandwich" — will hit shelves in April, and will be introduced through a national ad campaign. I'm not sure how the bagels are heated, but I'm really curious to see what they're all about. On one hand it sort of terrifies me, but on the other hand it fascinates me. What do you think? Would you be interested in a Bagel-Ful?

We used to buy these from street vendors in Hawaii - they were soooo good! Hope Kraft can make them taste as good.

I would rather be able to control how much cream cheese I put on the bagel myself. Plus, I don't eat bagels that often (too much carbs), though I still love them. But if I do, I'm lucky enough that Panera is like 150 ft away.

I've only had a frozen bagel once, and it wasn't that appetizing.

These do sound good. I am not sure how you are supposed to heat them, but I would stick them in the microwave becuase that is how I like my bagels and cream cheese, anyway.

maybe it will be like an Uncrustable....they come frozen but you put them in the fridge to thaw them before eating. They aren't too bad.

I don't think they sound too appetizing. How long does it take to toast and spread cream cheese on a bagel? Like 4 minutes?

Fresh bagels are always good but for someone like me who is on the run and loves cream cheese bagels, I might give it shot. Good point, though, christie1, how long does it take to toast?

This sounds really unhealthy. I'm sure they're going to pack all sorts of unnecessary calories into these. I love a good H&H bagel with cream cheese and lox.

Oh gosh. I'm not a fan of frozen meals. I doubt I'll be interested in this.

i can't say that i'd be interested in something like that. i think that part of the enjoyment of a bagel w/ cream cheese is going to the bagel store - getting it toasted and shmeared

I'm with uptown_girl. I would want to control how much cream cheese was on it. I like a layer, but not huge globs of it.

I don't think I would try these. I'm a fan of fresh bagels and I like to add just the right amount of cream cheese to my liking.

They used to serve these for breakfast on morning flights. They were fine and handy, but yeah...my apartment's right behind an Einstein; I'm thinking I'd go with that.

No...I prefer fresh bagels. And I'd like to spread my own cream cheese on it, not have a big clump of it sitting in the middle.

The idea has potential, but I would have to try one to see how they actually taste. I don't usually like frozen bagels.

I think some one already makes these... I had some a few months back. They were bagel sticks with cream cheese in the middle and you kept them in the fridge and they could be microwaved or eaten cold. They were not very good... they needed a better quality cream cheese and they might have been okay. Overall... bagels are pretty portable in the first place so I'd rather have one that tastes good!

I am a huge fan of fresh bagels, but stuffed ones would be GREAT for mornings when I'm in a rush!!! I can't wait to try - especially if they make flavored cream cheese ones too!!!

i hate frozen bagels! and frozen cream cheese sounds yucky and just for them to be prozen they will be stuffed full of even more artificial processed ingredients.

Yeah...how much cream cheese is floating around in there? Plus, I like my bagels toasted. If they tell me how to work that, then MAYBE i would try it.

I'd try it, sure. But only if they're toastable... I don't like bagels, fresh or otherwise, unless they're toasted.

I wonder how processed these are.
I might splurge for a bagel once or twice a week, but there is something extra special about when you get them just crispy enough.. I would guess the cream cheese would be messy.

I'm sure many people will buy them though, a lot of people will pay for convienence.

Gross. I think people eat too many prepackaged foods these days... and bagel-fuls is just another gross example.

This would be acceptable, while in a great while when I'm behind schedule and need something on-the-run. Smiling

I'd definitely try these...I'm always on the lookout for good breakfast items that I can just grab out of the freezer, even if I have to put them in the micro at work. I leave the house at 6:15, I don't want to wake up a minute earlier to make it but I do like to eat breakfast!

i wouldnt mind tasting them...but i'm sure they are over filled with cream cheese and have 1243434545566342 calories. I always scrape off half the cream cheese from my bagel so i'm not big on a bagel that's hard to seperate from the cheese.

    Sounds horrible

    1. how lazy do you need to be to have to buy this?
    2. Imagine the added preservatives and calories!
    3. hate cream cheese!

I am interested mostly to know how you heat them as well. If you stick a bagel in the microwave you get chewy rubbery business. I guess I'd have to see it.

I don't think they're related, but we have been getting shrink-wrapped bagels with a slab of cream cheese in them in the Army for years...of course, they drag them out to the field frozen and they're only partially defrosted by the time we eat them and the bagels are horrible...more like a bad roll and lacking the chewiness of a bagel...they're disgusting.

I don't know when it became difficult to smear some cream cheese over a bagel, but if these are anything like the ones that I had before, I'll pass....
