No mystery meat for me!

I won't say "ugh no way" because that is rude since so many folks do eat it. However I wouldn't eat this... pork, seriously processed, etc. Not for me.

Ooops, I'm not trying to say you all are rude. I just know people that buy this stuff by the cases to send to their home countries.

I've never tried spam and I probably never will.

I'd try it, it's perfect for making just one spam musubi! (Hawaii girl, born and raised) Of course, it's probably a rip-off, and sort of a waste of packaging.

I cut into a slice of spam once... and something that looked like an intestine popped out. I never touched spam again. (ooh I just thought of a new appetite suppressor)

I think the only time we bought spam was in preparation for a hurricane. That is possibly the only condition under which I would buy it again.

I use to eat SPAM when I was growing up in the South. I can't stomach it now, I think I ate too much when I was growing up. I even dislike the smell.

I grew up eating Spam. Glad I outgrew that trend.

i saw these in the stores like 3 years ago when i was in college....and while i wouldn't eat them, the packaging was HILARIOUS....the backs had different suggestions for what you could do with the singles....like wear it for a necklace, or use it as a doorstop or something, along with "make a sandwich" and whatnot.

spam grosses me out. My mom made it occassionally with breakfast when I was a kid, and as soon as I had the mental capacity to know what (or not know) it was...well, never again!!

Vegitarian here, so I won't be partaking... something about canned meat that just doesn't sound right. I don't even like eating those cranberry mold things at Thanksgiving! Ick.

I had a friend in college who used to eat it all the time... in fact, he's probably snacking on it right now, it is lunch time.. ugh.

Why all the hate for Spam? I think it taste okay pan fried. But then again, I'm from Southern Virginia and we eat all things meat or meat flavored. LOL

I love spam and its not "mystery meat" its made of a little potato starch, sodium nitrate, salt, sugar, pork shoulder and ham. Thats it. I mean its not good for you by any means, but its tasty nevertheless.

On a dare or with enough peer pressure, I'd try it. I'll pretty much try anything once.

I've never actually purchased or ate Spam at home, but at the state fair last year they had a booth that gave away free samples of this stuff and it was actually pretty good. I wouldn't buy it and eat it regularly, though because it's so unhealthy, but it was yummy!

We used to eat Spam alot when I was little. We weren't rich, and Spam was good and always did the trick! I haven't had it in years, but I'd be willing to try the new spam singles.

I got hooked on Spam after my friends and I went to Hawaii for our last spring break. It's not quite the same eating it in the middle of Texas, though. There was just something about eating Spam & eggs by the beach.

It makes my stomach churn just thinking about it. That could be because I always associate SPAM with pork and I don't eat pork. I doubt I would try the turkey.

I'm not sure why people are so "ew!" against Spam. I mean if you've had hot dogs or bologna you've had pretty much the same things that is in Spam. As a Hawaii girl I eat Spam. Not sure if I can find the singles in Canada but will continue to eat Spam because I think it's yummy!
