I found out that today is Tell a Fairy Tale Day and that got me thinking about fairy tales and food. Surprisingly, food plays a significant role in a lot of fairy tales and fables. I'm going to describe each fairy tale and you tell me which food goes with it. Ready?

Yesssss I got all of them right! I remember not knowing what radishes were as a little kid, but thinking that they sounded tasty if one was so desperate for them (ok ok I know she was PREGNANT and craving them, but little kids don't understand that!)!

i missed the one about rapunzel's father...my first instinct was to pick radishes but chose wheat instead. should have gone with my gut!

Hmm, never heard Rapunzel's story being radishes. I always heard it told as rape (like the veggie rapeseed oil is from). Hence her name being Rapunzel.
