We're spoiled here at the Sugar HQ; on Thursdays we're usually on the receiving end of a giant taco bar. However, some of the folks are getting a little tired of tacos and so this week we decided to order up Thai food. Unfortunately there was a snafu, and both Thai and tacos were delivered. I mean we could have always eaten two lunches, but most of us made a choice. Which would you have chosen?

1OMG!! This is just like my work! We have Pizza Friday every Friday and we got soooo sick of pizza that we begged them to let us get something different every once in a while. We actually had a taco/taco salad bar to break up the monotony!
I'm glad to know this happens other places too!
2I wish I worked at Sugar HQ! We sometimes get pizza, but you know how that gets old. I would go for either Tacos or Thai now - yum!
3I would totally put some green curried veggies and tofu in a tortilla. Yum!

6I love mexican but not a fan of tacos... So I would pick Thai!! (actually I would want to eat both, but I would feel pretty gross afterwards!)
7YumSugar didn't mention that lunch arrives super early — between 11 and 11:30 am — so I had Thai for a late breakfast and later at 4 I had a nacho snack.

11tacos. i don't like mexican that much, but for mass eating tacos always taste better than thai. i got sick so many times eating thai catered lunch because the curry was sitting there with no heater, etc.

13I'm totally going for both. maybe not together but yum and yumm. I so miss goo Mexican food. Ever since I moved to Georgia from So Cal i can't get any of my usual yumtastic Mexi food. Now all I have is Taco bell and that is certainly NO substitute

okay, so today we DID have a catered soul-food luncheon for the end of Black History Month. Fried okra, chicken wings, mac and cheese, sweet potato pie, fried catfish. YUMMY!!!!

Thai food... It's something I don't really have a lot of - not that I really have tacos a lot, either, but it just sounds so much better.

28Stomping my feet and throwing a hissy fit - why do I have to pick? I love them both. I am jealous of you ladies at Sugar HQ and I do agree tacos are more accessible than Thai, so since I have to pick, I pick Thai.
PS: Both are very available in the SF bay area - lucky us.

30mmmm. thai food! i made some last night. i would go for thai as it would be more likely to be vegan. i'm sure a lot of it is veg. since a lot of the Sugars are veggies.
