This weekend a bunch of my friends and I got together for a simple get together. It was already pretty late by the time we got around to talking about dinner, so we decided that pizza would be the best option. However, it took us forever to agree on toppings (I personally like tomatoes, garlic and fresh basil), that it was almost a bigger hassle.
So how about you, what do you like on your pizza?

Isabella Oliver
RED Valentino
Comme des Garcons
If your local pizzaria has good sauce, all you need is cheese.
1I love pepperoni the most, but I eat almost any kind!
2bacon and extra cheese lol
3I'm a little lost in the options
Gourmet? I chose other and this is what I
like to order for take-away from our local pizza place:
It's a wood-fired thin crust with marinara sauce, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, spicy salami, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, mushrooms and crushed chili peppers! THE BEST!
4BBQ Chicken
And there's this awesome pizza place in Providence called Antonio's by the Slice. They have amazing pizzas. Some of my favorites are tortellini and pesto and chicken parmesan
~M~
5I love white pizza - not a fan of red sauce. I get it with ricotta and broccoli. It didn't sound good when I was first introduced to it, but now it's my favorite! One of the local pizzerias has really good crust too, which makes it even better!
6I love Hawaiian, but I'll eat almost any kind of pizza. YUM!
7Florentine!
Crust, ricotta, roasted garlic, spinach and a lite sprinkling of low-fat cheese!
8I am with JustSomeChick, white pizza with broccoli. I am not a big fan of pizza in general - but white pizza I like to eat on Fridays!
9Pepperoni
10I LOVE pizza. In an way shape or form. But if I get to order for myself I order one of two kinds: (1)vegetarian with pepperoni or (2)pepperoni, mushroom, and suasage
11Pepperoni pizza, screw the nitrates in pepperoni that are bad for you
I LOVE
PIZZAAAAA, YUMMMMMMM
12I adore a good white pizza, with broccoli, some grilled chicken, perhaps some porcinis...and a hearty dose of garlic. Yum!
13veggie
14mushroom!
15I ask for no sauce on my pizza still not a very big fan of it! But you girls should try my Dessert pizza!!!
That's the best
heheh I posted it!!
16I love a cheesey pizza with pineapple, and only pineapple!
17I agree about the pineapple and cheese. Pineapple and black olive is suprisingly good too, if the olives aren't too tinny tasting.
Otherwise, you can't go wrong with margherita.
18set oven to 400.
8 in. thin/english cracker crust
olive oil
1 oz part skim mozzarella
roma tomato slices
red onion sliced thin
chopped fresh basil
1 oz goat cheese
2 thin slice prosciutto
salt and pepper or cavender's to taste
cook for 14 mins.
19thin crust margherita all the way
20I first had this at CPK, but now I just make it myself. Roasted eggplant, roasted corn, brocolini, red oniones, roasted red peppers and goat cheese. So good.
21Have you ever had a pesto and marinara pizza with tomatoes on top? So good!
I pretty much like all toppings except onions, sausage, or chicken.
22i love mushrooms and olives and red sauce. That is my favorite kind, but when the mood strikes, I do love a Margharita Pizza :)**I even had pizza at work today:)**
23I go veg all the way. Red sauce, white sauce, red and white, it doesn't matter!
I just tried anchovies on my last pizza pie last month, and it was absolutely delish! Then again, I've acquired a taste for anchovies on my Caesar salad about a year ago.
Veggie Power!*
*Anchovies Optional.
24I am a pizza FIEND! The best pizza is baked in a super-duper old brick oven, and thin-crust. My favorite pizza comes from New Haven CT (and yes, I've had NYC pizza, having lived there for nearly 6 years; NY pizza is good but not as good as my fave pizza from a place called Modern Apizza in New Haven). And I agree, if the ingredients and technique are good enough, then cheese is the only topping you need.
25Having said that, I recently had an amazing pie with chunks of roasted garlic and basil on top. Unbelievably good!
My favorite is the AGOG Primo at a local place here, Pagliacci Pizza:
26Fontina and mozzarella cheeses, roasted garlic, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, goat cheese, parsley and Kalamata olives on an olive oil base
i LOVE the tostada pizza from california pizza kitchen!
crust, black beans and cheese topped with shredded lettuce crunchy tortilla chip strips and drizzled with ranch dressing. yuuummm (i get it w/o onions and salsa)
otherwise..if you havent tried pizza with green olives (most places dont offer this) you are missing out! easy to make at home though if you wanna try...
27nothing beats a good ole new york slice. i missed pizza and bagels most when i was at school upstate. but i found a good place that made brick oven pizzas with gourmet toppings. my 2 favorites:
-pesto, feta, a bit of fontina, kalamata olives
-caramelized onions, wild mushrooms, mozzarella, and i have a sneaking suspicion they added a bit of nutmeg
soooo very yum.
28i love tomatoes, olives and mushrooms
29i know he thinks you're fine and stuff but does he know how to wind you up?
Thin crust, plain cheese! Brick oven baked is a plus.
30I had this great pizza recently (name doesn't matter, it was just the name of the restaurant because it's their specialty): cheese, a lot of black olives, basil, tomatoes, and red peppers...Delicious!
31I like Cecil Whittakers supreme or classic or whatever its called. It's a local St. Louis pizzeria and I've been meaning to go get me a pie for some time now. It's been too long (thus I cannot even remember what its called). Provel cheese, bacon, onion, green peppers, and some other stuff = weird local pizza perfection. Can't get it ANYWHERE else.
32Basil, olives, and pepperoni for me please!
