Two sergeants in the German air force are being accused of making traditional sausages using human blood instead. They were discovered when one of their fellow soldiers wanted to know if giving blood for sausage making was against regulations. I know I said I'd eat anything, but this sort of sounds like cannibalism to me. No thanks! — Telegraph

That is beyond disgusting!!!
absolutely disgusting!
WHAT!??!!? Why would they do that?? I don't understand!!!! And seriously? Did those guys just think "Oh sure this is normal. Take my blood and make sausage. Mmmm" UGH
NO!
ILLLLG thats so nasty
uh... WHAT?
ahhhhh ewwwwww. my sotmach hurts after reading that.
ewwwwwwwwwwwwww
People have problems....
Disgusting!
Ewwwww gross!
This just makes me want to vomit.
Some people have problems.
oh this is so gross.
At first I thought WTF, then I went well humans are animals too. In some cultures ingesting human blood is fine. And the Eucharist is a metaphorical ingesting of human blood and flesh - and that's far more disturbing to me.
If I were on that base - I'd stick with salad until those cooks had a psychological evaluation to make sure that they aren't mentally imbalanced.
This reminds me of the trend where people make semiprecious stones with the remains of there incinerated "loved ones". I taught that was bad but what about this?! Also i think this proves to us that the admission for authoritative figures is not rigid enough (since it is not impossible to consume human blood, heck they did it in the Easter islands. BUT I believe it is illegal in Germany!).
Maybe they're related to Sweeny Todd. =D
I don't see why it was illegal. They weren't coercing people into giving blood.
i'll pass!
I've eaten black pudding or blood sausage before but it's always been made with animal blood. I can't help but be curious about why these guys decided that using pig blood (what's traditionally used)was not good enough and by what thought process they came about the idea to use human blood. The human blood part is just baffling really. And really, asking other people to donate? Unbelievable.
Wow, that is awful!
That is just awful. WTF?!?!?
OMG that makes me want to hurl.
what THE-
Makes me feel like throwing up already.
Like blood pudding isn't gross enough already!
Ugh. Blood ANYTHING is nasty enough without the cannibalistic element... I'm going to be sick.
Why not donating blood if they don't know what to do with it?!
How can this notion even pop into someone's head?! There has to be a chip missing up there or something! Human blood?! APPALLING.
I don't see why it's as horrible as everyone is saying. It's not the fact that it's blood from a human that it's disgusting. It's the fact that the soldiers were aware of the social implications/rules of this behavior. I don't see how people are merely disgusted by the fact that it's blood. You realize that you normally eat animal muscle fiber. Not to mention organs (ie. intestine, anus, kidney, heart, etc) when eating deli hot dogs/sausages. As well as blood in steaks (especially if eaten rare). I guess I'm referring to the people who were raised on cheap (chemically altered) frozen dinners, PBJs; who think they are proud of being adventurous when eating sushi with only rice, cream cheese, and avocado... Cuz those 3 ingredients are sooo out there...
