Oh, this looks good! I've been eating broccoli coleslaw all the time and this is a different take on it. Yum!
1Sounds good and easy!
2needs some meat for me!
3Ooh, that sounds tasty.
4i'm def gonna try this...
5is oyster sauce from oysters (may sound dumb but think about oyster crackers
)? if
so, is there a vegetarian way to make this? it sounds good!
6My flatmates and I live on stir fries! This looks delicious, I'll have to try it.
Barbara, I actually asked myself the same question - had never heard of oyster sauce until a few months ago.
7I sometimes use a lemon grass stir fry sauce you get from grocery shops, it's vegetarian and really good.
Yes ladies, oyster sauce is in fact made with oysters, brine, and soy sauce. I guess a good substitute would be soy sauce. Hope that helps!
8I'll have to try this, with a substitute sauce. Oyster/fish/anchovy type sauces kind of weird me out. So much that I actually can't eat caesar dressing anymore...boo on me I guess! but the stirfry looks dee-lish!
9Must try this! My dad's vegetarian and I'm always looking for new things to make for him! Yeay!
