In case you haven't noticed, we really like sandwiches around here. In fact, I just went through a phase where I wanted sandwiches for dinner instead of "real" dinner.
However, while most people like them, I know that there are a few who don't appreciate them. When YumJimmy and I first met he actually never ate sandwiches. It was the most baffling thing to me!
So tell me, are you a sandwich lover, or a sandwich hater?
I love 'em! they're so easy to make and the best part is eating those tasty layers in between two delicious lightly toasted bread slices. mmmm

It all depends on the filling in them and if it's really good bread. I don't eat them often since most lunch meats give me a headache. Sometime's I'll make one at home, in the summer with some good fresh veggies, crusty bread and delicious cheese.

I like out of the ordinary sandwiches. Poboys and muffalettas and most things served at Panera - but plain jane sandwiches? No thanks.

I generally like sandwiches, but to have one for lunch it has to be a really good one. I love the ones at the deli counter in Whole Foods, I like to go and get the pint of soup and 1/2 sandwich combo!

i'm with ashcwebb. love eating them ,but hate making them. for some reason or another, they just don't come out as good!

I'm in the minority again. I don't like sandwiches much, and if I eat two a year that would be a lot.

Sandwiches are my absolute favorite food. Any kind - veggie on wheat or full on Italian with all that oil haha... YUM!!

Occasionally I'll eat a sandwich, but I'd rather have the meal deconstructed instead of being between two slices of bread. My hubby just doesn't understand this and even wrote a song about it.
My hubby: "I'm going to write a song about you! The first line is 'she's not the type of girl who eats sandwiches.'"
Me: "OH that's sweet! What's the title of the song?"
Him: "B*tch Likes Steak."
He's a goober but I love him.

I did not eat poultry or red meat for 15 years and all of a sudden I have been craving turkey, chicken, and salami sandwiches, so I've been eating them constantly.
I wait for the which of the week to see what I'm having.

I don't like bread, so I usually just end up picking all the good stuff out from between the slices.

Other - I'm a picky sandwich eater cause I'm not real crazy about bread. Artisan breads, that's another story. I received a panini grill for Cmas and am loving the ciabatta bread. My hubby is a bread boy and could eat them daily, I'd rather have soup and salad. It's easier on the lipstick.

AlmostFamous: Did you have to bring up Italian Beefs?? I moved back home to CA from a 4yr stay in Chicago a couple of years ago and I miss Italian Beef sandwiches so much. 
Sandwiches are pretty much my favorite thing to eat ever...Paninis are my fave, cheesesteaks, clubs, yummmmm!
I even have a panini machine. It's fabulous.

Love them but I switched from traditional loaf bread to whole wheat lavash or one side of a pita bread. Then I make a roll up sandwich which for some reason I find very fun - almost takes me back to elementary school when lunchtime was fun time.

Oh I love sandwiches but not those jawbreaker, overstuffed monstrosities. Even before surgery I would remove half or more of whatever was crammed into the sandwich so that I could fit it in my mouth without having to unhinge my jaw.

They have to be plain with only the stuff I like on them. I can not take other stuff off.

I love sandwiches, mainly because they're so easy to make! For a simple sandwich you just need some bread and some jelly or spread or a slice of cheese and you're good to go - that's perfect
for me. 
I get sick of them - I would much rather have a cooked meal. But, they're so easy to make - I eat them more than I'd like to, LOL.

Being the bread lover that I am, I could probably eat sandwiches at every meal.

They're yum yums! But it has to be good(dark) bread and good stuff in between.
I have to think of my health and my belly, so I can't have too much bread : (
Gotta love the 'wiches, but probably my faaaavorite type of sandwich is a good ol' BLTA. (avocado is the A). But only with a big pile of lettuce and a whole layer of crispy thick sliced bacon. Mmmm!

i love love love hot deli sandwiches. i'm a little embarassed to admit that unless i pay for a sandwich, i probably won't make/eat one. i really don't like sandwiches on sliced bread. i really hate cold sandwiches. and i can't eat lettuce or most vegetables on a sandwich. i'll eat a huge salad simultaneously, but the sandwich has to be meat and sauce (usually with cheese) on a roll of sorts.

yeokr--I don't like veggies on my sandwiches either unless it's avocado. I dunno,
lettuce just seems like a waste of perfectly good sandwich space!
I absolutely DESPISE sandwiches, the most BORING BLAND WASTE OF MENU SPACE ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET.

I love sandwiches! I don't eat them all the time, but I love mixing them up. Lately, I've really enjoyed fresh veggies and melted cheese with bagels, bread, sub rolls, you name it. Yum!
