I will not eat green eggs and ham. I will not eat them . . . Oh, who am I kidding, you guys know that I will eat just about anything, so of course I would eat green eggs and ham. Now I could either make them myself, or I could head to IHOP.
To tie into the release of the new Horton Hears A Who movie, IHOP is offering a Dr. Seuss-inspired menu. From now until April 20, you can chomp down on Who-Cakes (the sort of sickeningly sweet-looking pancake stack), Beezlenut Splash (a lemon-lime soda with colored Jello bits) and Green Eggs and Ham. I think it's a fun idea — well at least I'm sure I would if I was seven. However, when I think green eggs and ham, I usually think of the sunny-side up eggs whose yolks are green. Their interpretation seems to be herb-infused scrambled eggs, which is a little bit disappointing, but still fun.
So tell me, would you head to IHOP to try these dishes? If you do, be sure to snap a pic, I'm curious to see how they look in real life!

I was actually thinking about taking my kids. I think they would really enjoy this. Plus they are both really into Dr. Seuss
1I am actually really really curious about those "Who Cakes". Though I doubt I'd like them enough to actually buy them.
2The green eggs and ham, though, sure, the eggs look pretty good, I think. I'd try that if we had IHOP here.
This looks gross to me.
3The who cakes look like they'd put anyone into sugar shock.
The green eggs and ham, I'm with you - wish they were the way they were in the book!
4I tried this meal on Monday night. The eggs had a good flavor but were kind of mushy, I couldn't finish the whole plate. I think I'd get the smaller plate next time. The pancakes were really cute, not too sweet because everything was on top and not saturated. Made me feel like a kids again.
5i love the concept - i think that it's cute and kitchy and people are going to go to IHOP to enjoy it. even though i'm not a kid i kind of want to see horton hears a who....is that silly?
6I was in a production of Seussical just last month, and with the Horton Hears A Who movie coming out so soon I'm in a very Seuss-y mood right now. Fox is even coming to our town for us to participate in this search they're doing for the loudest city in the U.S (Towards the end of the story when Horton is trying to prove to everyone that the Whos exist, they yell "WE ARE HERE! WE ARE HERE!" over and over). I'd definitely go try these, and probably take all my Seussical buddies and make a night of it.

8that's cute for kids. the pancakes look pretty actually lol though i wouldn't eat them!
9i think out of everything...the drink sounds the grossest. sprite and jello??? no thanks.
10Aw, my mom used to make something like this for the kids in her classroom that she teaches
11I am totally going to take my kids there to eat that for brunch and then to the movie
12Ohhhh those pancakes look sooooo good! I can almost feel me sugar-induced coming on just by looking at them.
13Eep! I can't wait! IHOP for dinner!
14They have managed to make green eggs and ham look irresistibly delicious!
15IHOP is so gross.
16My little one doesn't think those look like green eggs... I thought they'd be dyed with green food coloring or something!
Those pancakes look disgusting to eat... but pretty to look at.
17Wow it looks pretty fancy for I Hop.
18This looks like so much fun! Who cares if I'm not seven anymore, I would love to go get this.
19I was at IHOP this morning, conviniently. I saw this on the menu...the Beezelnut Splash looked like a good FUN! drink! I wanted to order on just to feel like a kid, but I got OJ instead.
20i thought that these were a gimmick when i saw them in ihop today - but people are really eating these!
21err... the pancakes are kinda cool-looking lol
22My mom used to make me green eggs and ham, but she just used food coloring. And she'd always make me green milk on St. Patrick's Day too.
23Perfect for kids, but I wouldn't be able to eat that stuff.
24Maybe not the green eggs and ham, but the other pancakes look beautiful!
25When I was a kid, I went through a phase were I would only eat green things. My mom had to put green food coloring in my apple juice and in my scrambled eggs. At least I developed a love for broccoli early!
26I would try everything except for the ham. And I wish that the eggs were just as they are in the book, too. That would be perfection.
27I think those Who Cakes look effing awesome. I have to try them.
28WTF is the blue and pink stuff running down the pancakes. Those look way too sweet to eat.
29haha! i'm all over those pancakes! and my girls would love the green aggs and ham, fun
30i would TOTALLY eat this!! too bad there aren't any IHOPs around me
31It looks kinda gross, but also super cute! I know I shouldn't, but I want Who-Cakes!!
32i have had all of it, actually. tuesday night i went to ihop with a friend who had just gotten back in town and i was...hungry to say the least and tried all of it. the beezlenut splash was decent but i turned down a refil. the who-cakes were sickeningly sweet but my guy friend loved them and the green eggs were excellent
wasn't a big fan of the ham, though. at least i can say i tried all the Seuss specials,
right?
33what the hell is green eggs and ham anyways.:/ is it just a american thing?
34I love the idea of making eggs green using herbs! I'd probably also add some green veggies if I made something like this at home.
Those pancakes look disgusting though.
I can't eat at ihop anyway. I always leave with a horrible horrible stomach ache.
35green eggs and ham are from Dr. Seuss. It looks ok, eggs look a little wierd but at least the eggs aren't DYED green fewf. i would imagine IHOP would do something like that.
36It does not make me want to recite Dr. Suess
37I went to ihop today and got this.. the "green eggs" were DELICIOUS. i want to know how to make them at home.. there is spinach and onion and some kind of cheese, im sure of it. i hope they keep it on the menu!! much better than regular eggs with food coloring...
the pancakes weren't what i thought theyd be, which is a good thing. that syrup just tastes like blue/boysenberry. i dont really like sweet food for breakfast, so i was scared.. but they were really good. oh, and make sure if you dont want to have chocolate on your pancakes that you get it without those colorful things. i didnt eat any of them because im just not a fan.
didnt try the drink, but i would if i didnt need coffee with breakfast
38I went to IHop today for Easter Bunch because I'd been craving an omlette... however when I saw this on the menu I just HAD to try it! Soooo glad I did! Not only was it very tasty, but it was fun - Great for making you feel like a kid again to those of us who haven't lost our inner child.
39Oh, I almost forgot. In all seriousness, I swear this is the honest truth too... our server's name was Sam.
40i went today.
41i got the Beezlenut Splash
it was a little awkward drink jello pieces,
but it was yummyfultastic!
i defiantly recommend!
