3I have done that with flavored teas. Lightly crack the eggs and soak them in a strong tea.

5When you soak them in tea, does it make the whites turn brown? I think I'll try this beet coloring. It looks pretty! That's not something I thought I would ever say about egg whites!

I eat tea eggs all of the time (which are a tasty chinese snack), so it seems like a pretty normal thing to me.

8There's an Amish restaurant in my area that has eggs like this at their buffet. Not my cup of tea--I don't like hard boiled eggs in the first place--but my brother absolutely loves them. I think it does change the flavor.
