I had to answer a "sometimes, it just depends." The last time was last night. My husband photographed me making a whole wheat broccoli and artichoke pizza with a pesto sauce. I was giddy, it
was my best pizza dough ever.
I sometimes take pictures on my phone and send them to my friends to make them jealous. I made thumbprint cookies for the holidays and they were so pretty I had to take a picture!
I said sometimes, but it's very few and far between. I took pictures of my kids making christmas cookies and some of the cookies. And I took pictures when my husband made me a cherry pie and
cut a pattern in the crust (freehand) of two cherries with stems and leaves - couldn't help it, I was really impressed!
I've done this while traveling, which is a fun way to remember a vacation aside from the scenery. I was in Vienna and Prague last year and have several photos of the plates of food (from
right above the food - not from the side or any angle) that were served - nothing incredibly exotic - but to my surprise, they were some of my friends' and family's favorite pictures.
I attempted to keep a food blog for awhile so I took photos then...they never looked good though. The combination of my horrible photography skills and horrible lighting in my apartment led
to some pretty unappetizing looking foods.
Now, I just like to photo foods that are maybe a little different or interesting. I took a lot of food photos while I was in china.
nope - i'm not one to take pics of my food - however i am a firm believer in food porn...and i'll tear pages out of magazines for things that look too good to be true...and that i would never
eat becuase of the cal/fat content.
I do sometimes. Sometimes food just looks...pretty. Also, almost everything looks super fancy and yummy on my dinnerware, so I took pictures of a lot of meals when I first got them.
When I cook something new and I want to show the process I photography it and put it on my MySpace page.
I have a group of friends who also have photos of the food they've made and we basically share our recipes and show how we made it to each other. Of course my friends are freaking a
professional chef and a professional training pastry chef - so their stuff looks amazing. My stuff looks like it came out of an Easy Bake Oven.
I started doing that when I went on a cruise this past November, cause all of the food was so awesome looking. Now that I'm in culinary school, my phone memory is almost used up with all of
the pictures I've taken of different food. I'm thinking of putting everything I have together in some sort of blog or something because the plates are just too amazing to keep hidden on my
phone!
i always snap pix of food/meals when i'm on holidays, make great pages for scrapbooking - and remind you of the beautiful foods from exotic places so i can recreate them when i get home.

4Sometimes, if it's a special occasion or something I made that I'm proud of. Not very often, though.
5Only if it's something special and i'm proud of.
6If I make somethign really great and photogenic at home, I might. Usually I don't think to until it's too late!
I would feel really weird pulling out a camera (even a cameraphone) and taking a picture of my food at a fancy restaurant.
7only if I made something really beautiful OR if I am doing a blog for the Kitchen Goddess Group!

17Sometimes. It depends on what it is and how good it looks. If I've tried out a new recipe, then definitely.
18Only if it's something spectacular.
