Today is Saint Vincent's Day. I know you are thinking, has PartySugar gone all religious on us? Or what does that have to do with anything? Well the answers to these questions are (1) no, I have not gone all religious, although I do celebrate my Saint's Day (a custom I picked up in Spain where everyone celebrates their Saint's Day - you know me I love any reason to throw a party!) and (2) St. Vincent is the patron saint of wine and wine growers. St. Vincent is who the vintners pay their respects to for a successful harvest, superb growing season, and flourishing wine fermentation. Even though I don't have a winery (although it's one of my fantasies to marry a super hot young vintner), I'll open a bottle of wine and give a cheer to St. Vincent. Right now I'm really into red wines (it's so cold out, I don't feel like drinking anything chilled) and suggest trying a bottle of The Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon South Eastern Australia 2005. You can buy this wine for only $8. That's so cheap, you might as well purchase two bottles. Chin Chin! (Thats the sound of your glasses clinking as you toast!)

1Oh, I want some! I would just stick it in the fridge so it will be nice and cold for dinner
2I love Australian wines. This is a good one.
3Isn't it spelled "cin cin" even though it's pronounced "chin chin"?
