I was checking out TeamSugar when I came across this post from member Phasekitty. She went all out and planned a fantastic-looking St. Patrick's Day dinner. She baked up some Irish Soda Bread, ate Guinness Beef Stew, and topped off the evening with a yummy green peppermint pie! It all looks so delicious, I wish I was there!

The whole meal looks amazing, but that Irish Soda Bread is what is really attracting my eye. You said you preferred this recipe to the one from last year with the caraway seeds, but the only recipe link is to the one WITH the caraway seeds. Can you supply this one - the one that's 'hard to mess up', which is exactly what I need! Smiling

Marci- if you click "Yum's Irish Soda Bread" that should be the right link to the plain soda bread without the caraway seeds. Good luck- let me know if it works as well for you as it did for me! Smiling

I have made the guiness beef stew and it is YUMMY! My husband can usually tell when I have made things with alcohol and instantly declares he cannot eat it but this he loved.
