unless the plastic was meant to be cooked with, you might give yourself cancer... molecules may seep into your food. not worth it. just do it the martha way.

NO! Never cook food in plastic (this way or in the microwave). It will give you cancer.

I love poached eggs but hardly ever have them. I make them really well, too.
