When I went to drinks at my grandfather Al's house he had a fire roaring in both fireplaces and lots of his candles lit. He was hosting a pre dinner drink for my aunt's 50th birthday party and we were all gathered in his super-nice-always-off-limits-white-carpeted living room. Although I visit awesome Al all the time I can't remember the last time I was in his living room. He had some crazy cool make shift candelabra/votive holders. My aunt actually came up with the idea: she spotted the statues at Ikea for a very reasonable price. Votive candles happened to fit perfectly in their little arms. I love it for the ingenuity even if I think the statues are a little abstract. What do you guys think: love it or hate it?

I wouldn't call it tacky but I don't really like those statues. There are some out there that I do like though.
1Oh I totally love it.
I just wish it was MADE like that, the tacky part of it is that she actually did it herself. But I still love it.
2Not my fav, but could have been cute

3I worked at a hotel in Calistoga, CA. and we had in the bar some candleholders like these. We called them "deco ladies" as the hotel was Art Deco and a national historical site. I have 2 of these and I always get comments on them, they were made for the hotel by Fritz and Floyd.
4I love these that think they could only be pulled off with the right decor.
I'm all in.
5I like it.
