i love wine, i didn't know anything about it before i met my husband though. he does a lot of brewing and worked at wineries in college so he's always teaching me new stuff.
I used to work at a fancy-pants restaurant, we were forced to learn a lot about wine so we could make recommendations etc. We were even encouraged to do tastings before our shifts of the new
wines!
Wine is so much fun. My husband and I recieved a bottle as a gift once; it was imported from Italy - Merlot - and OMG!! It was the best, I'm finding it hard to find one to compare. It was
smooth - all the way down. Any Suggestions?

2I can easily do wine pairings for food, but I wouldn't say I know a lot!

6I spent years only drinking wine with communion
but picked up a taste for it last
summer. Since then I've been learning as much as I can!
7I don't know much but I would love to learn some basics. I know the few wines I like (Riesling and Muscat) but other than that I know nothing.
8Just a little under average. I want to learn more, take a wine tour or two. I do like wine even though I don't drink a lot of it.
