The other day I received an interesting email from one of my older brother's best friends, the handsome baseball coach, Matt. In the email, Matt described how he and his fellow coaches recently decided to give up certain foods for the entire baseball season from January until June. Matt is giving up all fried foods (healthy and doable), Scott is giving up cheese (I could NEVER in my entire life give up cheese), and Buddy is giving up bread (another tough one). Now I'm all for giving things up every now and then (to change the pace of your diet), and with Lent starting next Wednesday I applaud and encourage Matt and his team's willpower (I am going to give up shopping - not food related but I will definitely need your support readers!). If I had to give up one food I think it would be potato chips, I get weak in the knees whenever I'm near a bag and know I'd be better off without munching on them. How about you? If you had to give up one food, what would it be?

Who could give up cheese? I hope you're vegan or lactose intolerant! I couldn't imagine giving it up....mmmmmm dairy
1i chose fast food but that might be cheating because I don't eat it anyway
2I could live without everything except cheese.
3i could NEVER live without bread!
4I'd definitely give up dairy.
5I'd give up fast food & potato chips.
6You can at least play around with pizza and make it semi-ok for you...french fries are a weakness that I've always had, I am ok if they are not aorund, but if someone else has them, i will always steal a few (which usually turns into more, cause you can never just have a few).
7I would love to be able to give up chocolate but that would never happen!
Fast food.
8I would give up sweets anyday.. but, never could I give up cheese or any carby foods. Haha.. I wish there was a cheese and bread diet.. I'd be sooo in.
9I already don't eat most fast food, candy bars, and potato chips. I can't give up chocolate or bread.
10Off the list - fast food defiantly - who saw supersize me? uck...
11I don't crave potato chips so that was easy.
12i would give up fried foods. they always taste so crispy and good, they are a bane to my diet! lol. the easy way out for me would be to give up candy bars. i havent had one in months and dont miss it!
13I don't eat potato chips so I could totally give that up, but if that wasn't on the list, I'm not sure what I'd pick!!! Maybe candy bars.
14Well, I voted before I really read the entire list. I said bread (which I don't eat much of anyway and unless it's 100% whole wheat)
15I could give up candy bars because I really don't eat them, either. Rarely eat potato chips. Rarely eat pastries or sweets.
I eat lots of veggies, lean protein and stuff like that. My downfall would be crackers, tortilla chips, and dry cereal. I like to snack on them late at night, while I'm reading.
I don't eat candy bars or fast food, so those two would be easy for me to give up. The hardest would be chocolate. Actually, that would be impossible.
16This was actually pretty easy for me Yum - I swore off fried foods a while ago when I realized they annoy my tummy & get me all greasy! those other things though? In moderation right?! xo
17I rarely eat candy bars, chocolate, potato chips, or fast foods. So those wouldn't be too hard. Bread would be hard for me.
18potato chips!
19i havent eaten them in a long time with no problem
