3Seems like a great idea to me! Though I prefer apple crisp to pie...perhaps apple crisp in a jar would work too.
I was surprised to see on the original blog that the pies seemed to slip right out of the jar and onto a plate in perfect condition...I doubt I could get them to do that.
4I love that! Homemade, single serving pies when you want them. My husband isn't a sweet monster like I am so that is perfect!

9The original site says that u can put the unbaked pies in the freezer and keep up to a week or so. That's absolutely brilliant. I can just pop one in the oven and then enjoy a hot pipping homemade pie while watching my fav tv show
