A little while back, YumSugar tasted and reviewed Batter Blaster, the pancake batter in a bottle. While she used the squirt-able batter to make surprisingly good-tasting pancakes, our friends at Grocery Eats recently used their batter blaster to make deep-fried pancakes. At first glance, these crispy pancakes look like delicious funnel cakes. But reading the fine print, one can see they are incredibly oily. I would probably eat one, Paula Deen would probably eat a bunch, but how about you? Would you eat this deep-fried pancake stack?

18When I heard about Batter Blaster for the first time, my mind immediately went to funnel cakes. Looks terribly unhealthy, but I'd sure try some.

25I'd try one, but regular pancakes are too heavy for me. These look like what my FIL would call belly bombers.
26I'm not a huge fan of pancakes, and I try not to eat anything fried as a breakfast food.
27Francoisehardly, you asked about fried soda. They did it at the state fair here and I saw it on TV. Basically I think they fry little balls of the syrup. Then they put the little balls in a cup and top them with whipped cream and soda syrup. It looked weird.
