Wish you could try wines before you buy them? Sounds ridiculous, but a French company called WineSide is hoping to do just that. According to Springwise, WineSide will offer sweet and classic wines in patented, flat-bottomed glass tubes. Currently they're only available at a Parisian shop called Colette. However, the product does bring up an interesting concept. What if you could try any wine before buying? Do you think this is something wineries would be interested in? And would it even taste the same as a vintage that was bottled? What do you guys think about this try-before-you-buy wine?

i like this idea!
I think this is an awesome idea!!!
I think this is great! That way, you don't end up spending a whole lot of money on a bottle on wine you dont even like.
I like this idea. One of the liquor/wine stores near me does Saturday tastings of about 5 or 6 different wines. I usually pick up the one I like from the group.
I think this is a great idea!!
I like it! Even if it's not the same as a properly bottled wine, at least you could weed out those wines that you end up finding irredeemably disgusting...after you've already paid for the bottle.
I think is a great idea. A way to really try some wines before you buy!
It is a good idea! And dang, I am a sucker for packaging haha. It's so pretty!
whole foods does this. at least ours does
This is an awesome idea.
I love the idea. It's a bummer when you buy a bottle of wine and it's just "meh".
I could've used this a few months back when I was exploring new wines and decided, what the hell, I'll just buy a $30.00 bottle of Zinfandel and then when I got to tasting it I realize that I actually hated it and had to get rid of it because it sat on our counter for nearly 6 months. I'm a cabernet girl, i should've stuck to it.
i think this is a great idea- even if it doesn't have the exact taste of the whole bottle, its still enough of an idea to know if you are absolutely going to hate it or not
What a terrific idea. It's the same as going to a wine tasting anyway. I would much rather taste a wine before I buy it. Good example, a friend suggested her favorite wine. She went on and on about it being the perfect party wine. Taking her word for it, I went out and bought two bottles. Let me tell you, it was one of the worst wines I've ever had. If I would have had the opportunity to try it first, I never would have wasted the money.
I love this idea because I'm super picky about wine.
