Do you know of any wedding "cakes" that aren't made from cake or dairy? My boyfriend tells me the one thing he hates about desserts and weddings is that it's always cake and ice cream. He's a fruit and sorbet kinda guy, but I can't seem to find any sites with pictures of actual wedding cakes made from something else. [I'm totally trying to appeal to my boyfriend somehow that weddings really aren't that bad to plan].
All of these cakes are gorgeous.
bengalspice - I love your boyfriends idea - good luck finding something you like. As far as weddings not that bad to plan, I agree with you, it's all in your attitude! Have fun planning.
I wanna just blow tradition out of the water. I want my wedding cake to be all chocolate! I'll have a small tier, or maybe a switcharoo and have the groom's cake be white cake, cuz my grandma can't have chocolate.
bengalspice - there's a place called Edible Arrangements that does big, beautiful arrangements out of fruit. Maybe they could do something.
