Would You Eat This Piece of Pizza?

At first glance, this slice of pizza looks like regular cheese pizza. However, if you look closer, you'll notice something extraordinary about the topping. It's a macaroni and cheese pizza! Made and sold at Ian's Pizza — a popular pizza joint in Madison, WI and Chicago — the mac and cheese pizza is a best selling, crowd pleaser. I've never heard of mac n' cheese pizza and would love to get my hands on a slice of it. How about you? Would you eat macaroni and cheese-topped pizza?

I've had it before and yes, at first I thought it would be gross, but it was actually very good! Try it!

Fork yes! If it has cheese on it and it's not moving, I'm eating it!!! A chain called Umbria Pizza in Minnesota makes a mac and cheese pie, but I have yet to partake.

I LOVE pizza, but I really despise mac & cheese, so no, I wouldn't eat that.

This sounds kind of...odd, but I'm sure if I came across it somewhere I'd feel compelled to try it, as I love both pizza and mac and cheese.

I love the baked ziti pizza at J's Pizza at 7th Ave and 16th St in NYC . . . but it's the cheddar and marinara combo of this one that confuses me. But, who am I kidding, I'd totally take a nibble!

This is just overkill. Each food on its own is sufficiently decadent. What's next, breaded and fried?

No. I would eat the pizza without macaroni and cheese. It's a gross combination. Plus I only eat macaroni and cheese if it's homemade and exceptional. Otherwise, it isn't worth the fat and calories.

There's a place on chambers street and broadway in New York that does this, except with regular pasta on pizza.

I've had the baked ziti pizza at my favorite late night pizza place in NYC - Pi33a. And unfortunately, it was not as flavorful as I would want. Something was missing. I honestly think it even just needed salt. Or sausage. Something.

Hm. I do love pizza, and all things cheesey, so I'd have to give this a shot.

I made Mac & Cheese pizza for my nephew once. OK, it was Lean Cuisine mac & cheese on top of Lean Cuisine Pizza, but he liked it.

As always, I'd try a bite, but it looks like it might be too much dairy for my poor tummy to handle if I ate it in the quantities in which I normally inhale pizza.

omgoodness! i'm studying abroad right now, and have had a hankering for some Anotino's pizza. One location is in Amherst, MA where my school is, and the other is in Providence, RI, and they make theeee most outrageous delicious combinations of pizza I have ever witnessed. The Mac and Cheeseburger pizza, which this version reminds of, is a staple for many lucky students. The crust is usually crunchy and crispy on the outside, and warm and soft on the inside with awesome bits of mac on top along with the ooey gooey cheese and hamburger...oh yum! Some of my other favorites include a Honey Mustard Chicken pizza and an Avocado Quesadilla pizza which has chunks of delectable avocado along with tortilla chips, olives, tomatoes, and a drizzling of sour cream sauce on top!

Sounds like it could satisfy two cravings at once but then I'd have to vomit. The grease--uggghh-grease then all those simple carbs. What a waste of calories it would be for me. And how much time would I lose over the trashcan?

mmm, carb-tastic! Another unlikely but winning pizza topping is baked beans. Tasty!

I would never eat it (I don't like mixing my foods like that) but I have seen it before. It's made at Great Northern Pizza Kitchen, a chain around here.

CiCi's pizza has this combo on their buffet. Worth a nibble but I wouldn't go back for a 2nd piece.
Too much with the carb on carb.

I could go for that avocado quesadilla pizza, emperatriche.

It's the youngling's favorite CiCi's choice. He eats like a bird mostly but will put away two slices of mac and cheese pizza. It's really not bad but it's way way WAY too many carbs on one plate for me.
