Earlier this week McDonald's revealed the looks of their new British uniforms. Designed by couturier Bruce Oldfield, the uniforms — in a mocha, biscuit, and white color scheme — consist of collared shirts, baseball caps, and suits. The uniform update is part of McDonald's ongoing efforts to modernize the style and feel of the fast food experience. While I think it's an interesting idea, an ill fitting suit is never attractive and I can't imagine that the suits will be tailored to fit all 67,000 employees. How about you? What do you think of the uniforms?

It's so dark and a bit dreary. Whenever I imagine mcdonald's, I always think fun and cheerful atmosphere.
Eh, I'm not a fan.
I kind of like it... but then, I'm a fan of that colour scheme in general, and I never go to McDonald's so I don't overly care about how it relates to my fast-food experience.
I like the red that they use now ... It's happy and cheerful
Those are some ugly uniforms - very depressing.
Honestly - I don't care. I think uniforms should be at the bottom of the list.
I don't go to McDonald's for fashion advice
I know McDonald's has been trying to present itself as a "classier" company. Like, the one near my house just put in wifi, plasma TV's, a fireplace (fake, of course), and mood lighting. I just don't buy into the whole upscale thing. It's McDonald's. It's fast food. They serve cheeseburger that take 30 seconds to cook. I don't know, that's just how I feel about it.
I don't eat there so I don't really care,
I rarely eat McD's but I can only imagine working there and feeling like you aren't wearing a costume must feel a lot better. It's nice they actually care.
Which one is it of the pictures? That one on the top left looks like an old Catholic school uniform. The blouse with the scarf on the top right isn't bad insofar as uniforms go, and I can't see anyone working at McDonald's in a suit.
I don't like these colors. I don't think that a suit is very practical either. They need to use the McDonald's colors anyway.
hate it. c'mon it's mickey d's....it's not suppose to be fancy.
Yucky.
I'm not a fan, but at least the dark colors won't show spills. You have to consider that 50% of the employees are teenagers and they aren't going to keep up a nice uniform even if it's given to them.
Uhhh...
How dismal, they're probably expressing their sorrow for the poor cows/hamburgers.
it's blah, but it's McDonalds's so who really cares.
It's a uniform what's to like. I feel badly for the teens and senior citizens that will have to wear it. Although I think the citizen senior crew at McD's will think its quite stylish and peppy.
the one on the right looks like a really ugly flight attendant uniform. they remind me of car interiors. fug. fug. fug.
These are ridiculous.
look how happy they are! maybe i'll get me one
way too dull and beige.
this is fast food were talking about here, delicious trashy goodness, makes me think of tacky bright colors! lol
Bisque, McDonalds is no longer fun, it is a chic cafe.
Gosh if Mcdonalds would stop trying so hard, maybe i'd eat there.
Ties in the grill area? Really?
Plus, it's just another excuse for McDonald's employees to NOT wash their uniforms. Which a lot of them hardly ever do, by the way.
Well I always thought the red uniforms with the dorky hats were stupid. BUT now..... i think they are just fine....i dunno y they are trying to look all professional.
i think they are great - trying to make mcd's more posh i suppose...it's a good transition. i think that everyting needs to evolve at some point in time and this is a good time for them to try the same. with the changes in the menu, we're not talking about the same fast food that was started back in the day.
um, i work in a hilton hotel and these are the types of uniforms we were (the top right, and lower picture) but mcdonald's? are you serious??
wear** (sorry it's late.)
As a former McDonalds employee I have to say that these uniforms are step up from what I had to wear. I worked there for 2 hellish years (it was my first job and no you won't be seeing me in one of those "Mcdonalds was my first job, it taught me so much" commercials.) The uniforms were horible, plus I'm 5'10 and the uniform pants did not come in long sizes, it was a disaster. LOL
i love it PLEASEEEEEEEEE CHANGE THE WHITE UNIFORMS!!!!! Y WORK FOR MCDONALDS !!1 PLEASE CHANGE THE UNIFORMS.
while i feel like some parts of great britain have class; mcdonalds is not classy or fabulous no matter where you are. its junk and the cheapest fast food you can find. this is a false.
I work at McDonalds as a mangager, and the uniforms are unrealistic. Whoever designed them, obviously does not know what kind of work is done in the store to get you your cheeseburger in 30 seconds. They are ugly, and don't look comfortable. I know when I deal with a customer who wants to complain because it took 2 minutes to get a dollar hamburger, I would rather not look like my grandmothers couch. And the only people who can wear suits, are supervisors and up because they don't do any labor. I give it an F, try again. Maybe try wearing them and working in them first.
