I don't know about you, but being this close to Cinco de Mayo makes me crave margaritas! Simply made, a margarita is tequila, orange liquor, and lime juice. However, this recipe for the ultimate margarita takes the concoction to a whole new level. Limeade concentrate and beer are the secret ingredients that make it exceptionally refreshing. While I prefer my margaritas on the rocks, this recipe is also nice blended.
To rim the glass with salt, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass. Dip it in a bowl of coarse salt, turning the glass in a circular motion. Carefully fill with ice and the margarita.
To check out the recipe — seriously this is a keeper, I've made it more times than I can remember! — read more.

I had the best margarita last week at the bar but when I try to make them myself they taste like crap. I will try this recipe though and hope they turn out good.
1OMFG!!! This is almost how you make beergaritas which are horrible but kick ass at the same time!!! Takes me back to crazy bonfires and limeade all over the place.
2can't wait to try this weekend, perfect for this kind of a drink
3I think I always crave margaritas! They're by far my favorite drink in the summer...and I prefer mine on the rocks too. I made a batch of guava margaritas last week and they were amazing!
4Doesn't the beer/liquor combination make you sick though?
5Woot woot! I love margaritas!
6So good.
7beer and liquor does not make you sick. That liquor before beer/wine whatever is just what college kids say to make them feel better for drinking 12 drinks in one night.
8I've never heard of putting beer in a margarita...I usually just use the tequila and the triple sec and I usually make mine with strawberries. I may have to try this recipe though to see if I like it any better.
9Delish!
10I love love love margaritas..I'm not sure about the beer in it though.
11Ok, partysugar just made these for the office, and I must say, I am blown away. They are sweet but not too sweet, and the beer adds a nice element of bubbly without the sugary flavor of soda. Delicious! I want to go home and make some now.
12Agreed with Nancita! When Party first said beer, I was a little wary, but seriously, they are delicious.
13These sound so good, and easy! I just got hooked on margaritas, will def. have to try this recipe.
