Yellow jsut ripe bananas!

i prefer bananas that are still slightly green and mostly yellow. no spots at all please. i won't eat it if it has spots. i hate the way overly ripe bananas smell and taste.

I only eat bananas in banana bread.

I buy 'em green, eat them when they are the perfect yellow, and when they have brown spots I mash them into my morning oatmeal or cut them up and freeze them for smoothies!

Mostly yellow, slightly brown. I had one this morning that was still green and it just was not right.

I can only eat them yellow. They bother me if they are green or brown. I love bananas but they can be frustrating to get just right.

I love them when they're ripe and start to get a bit spotty ... they're so soft and sweet at this point!

Ultra-ripe works best for me. I especially like the tiny bananas from Mexico.

Somewhere between green and yellow. I hate taste, texture, and smell of brown bananas.

Not a fan of the banana. The smell of them used to make me gag, but I'm over that now that I have kids.

Kinda half green, half yellow. And once they get brown spots on them, never mind. You might as well trash them. BLECH!

I've never been a fan of bananas...but now banana bread, that's another story!!

If my bananas get any spots on them and I try to eat them, it makes me want to gag. Perfect = green on the ends and yellow in the middle.

I'm with millysaps. They have to be green on the ends and yellow in the middle - NO SPOTS! Overripe bananas remind me of fake banana flavoring in candy, which I can't stand. If any of my bananas get to the spotty phase, I save them for banana bread, or banana pancakes.

Yeah, I'm with the others who say green on the ends, yellow in the middle. The only thing the ones with brown spots on are for is banana bread.

when I saw this post, I was like "that's what she said." haha, I couldn't help myself. but seriously, I like my bananners just a little ripe. Yellow with a few spots. I don't like them too ripe and all bruised.

Either chocolate coated or under ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry!

To eat plain, I like ripe, yellow bananas. But I also love to put mashed, overripe bananas in my oatmeal, once they've gotten brown. It's absolutely delicious, I don't even have to add any other sweeteners! Just some cinnamon and toasted walnuts. YUM =]

I won't eat a banana if there is not some brown on it. Doesn't taste right other wise

I buy green because they don't always get eaten right away so then they ripen, I eat the yellow and hope for some mushy brown ones left so I can make banana bread. No reason to see a nanner go to waste.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE BROWN BANANAS. IT IS ONE OF MY MAJOR PET PEEVES TO GO TO SOMEONES HOUSE AND SEE BROWN OR SPOTTED BANANAS. MY BOYFRIENDS MOM ALWAYS BUYS BANANAS AND NEVER, EVER, EATS THEM. SHE HAS A FREEZER FULL OF DARK BROWN BANANAS. EVERYTIME I GET A CHANCE I THROW A COUPLE AWAY. SLIGHTLY GREEN AND MOSTLY YELLOW IS MY BANANA CHOICE.
