It's a strawberry pie, but not the kind you're thinking of. Since I'm all about finding new ways to enjoy strawberries, I recently ordered a cornmeal-crusted pizza topped with classic tomato sauce, sweet berries, feta cheese, and mint. Admittedly, the flavor combo was a bit incongruous on a pizza, but I'd definitely order it again.
My only complaint was that the delicate strawberries were nearly overwhelmed in the context. Would you give it a try?

1Sure, but I think I would prefer it without the mint.
2for me it would have to be sans feta, but i would probably suggest a balsamic-based sauce instead of the traditional redsauce

6I'd try a bite, but the idea of it isn't really appealing. Then again, I had watermelon paired with fete a few years back and it is something that I am looking forward to again come local melon season! Ya just never know!

10I like mandarin oranges on pizzas so why not? But I would pass on the mint... I find it too strong a flavor.

24We always eat weird things on pizza. Pickles on pizza is amazing. We love Taco pizza, BBQ or buffalo chicken pizza with BBQ or Buffalo sauce instead of pizza sauce. I can't wait to try fruit on my pizza.
