Since most of you seem to enjoy caffeine, I thought I'd let you know that there are THREE days this month (that's right, three!) when you can get a cuppa for free.
The first is today ( March 8 ) at participating McDonald's. They're handing out free cups of coffee to anyone who asks for it. This is because they recently beat out Starbucks in a taste test. On a related note, I just read that they're planning on expanding espresso drinks nationally.
The second is next Thursday ( March 15 ) - Starbucks is promoting its second annual "coffee break" by pouring free 12oz cups of brewed coffee between 10am - noon.
The last one is the following Wednesday ( March 21 ) - Dunkin' Donuts celebrates the first day of spring with a free 16oz cup of iced coffee.
So mark your calendars folks, free caffeine for all!

That's so funny that McDonald's beat out Starbucks in a taste test. A friend pointed out the other day that Starbucks coffee always seems a bit burnt, and after her mention of it...that's all I taste now- burnt coffee. It's true!

5Thanks for the correction Hanan! And declanium, I think there are a bunch of free coffee with purchase of a sandwich coupons (for McDs) right now, but I think at participating (and since they're franchised, who knows how many are "participating") McDs, you can actually get free coffee.

8I never really liked "five"bucks coffee, to strong and just blah for me. I'm markin' my calendar for the Dunks day though. I love their iced coffee!
9McDonald's (in Missouri) gives out free coffee every Monday. Just ask for a free cup. Small size.
10this sucks! i missed the mcd's, i have class from 10-12 on thursdays, and there are no dunkin doughnuts in my state!
