Should you refuse sex if your husband or boyfriend doesn't cook for you? Jamie Oliver thinks so. The British celebrity chef recently expressed his opinion to the Times Online. He said:
Men are driven by sex. So the best way for women to get their men into the kitchen would be to stop having sex with them until they start to cook.
Oliver's tactic may be outlandish and unreasonable but it also may work. Being single, I don't have the chance to put his theory to practice but was wondering, what do you think about the idea?
Have you ever abstained from sex to get your man to cook?

Uh, no, why should I punish myself?? Men are not the only ones who enjoy sex.

2omg...i'm dying over here..get real!
i hate anyone who thinks that guys need sex more than a woman! I would stop doing his laundry or something before I gave up those amazing orgams!
3This is something fun to think about but I love cooking and my kitchen too much to let the beau into it and make a mess. lol.
4My guess is they wouldn't care, and would instead just masturbate and go to Hardee's afterwards for a man-sammich. ;P
5Is that really even necessary? The last time I checked some guys do actually cook. I mean he is a chef so...
6Go ahead. My girlfriend and I are both great in the kitchen.
7interesting idea except some guys cook from the get-go!
8My husband once called me and asked when the ground beef would be done for sloppy joes. I came home and found the slab of ground beef in a square still WITH the paper on it frying in pan. He hasnt come near the stove since nor does he care. Id rather save the time to cook for both of us and use the saved energy for the 5 minutes of play he may be lucky enough to obtain later. LOL
9first off all I have to say is ok please cook for me tonight. Most times it will be take out of some kind but he would still cook if I ask and second I can't get enough sex so why in the world would I abstain are you kidding LOL.
10I need my man to cook in the bedroom as well as the kitchen!
11Maybe his girlfriends did that A LOT, that's why he became a chef
12Great, I'd be sex-deprived AND starving.
13I can't cook but have spent at least 10 years of my life dating chefs. My partner and I have been together for ages and have a 4 year old daughter and he still does all the cooking. I guess if your man is going to cook for you, it helps if he knows what he's doing! Staying in shape so you still want to have sex is the challenge. All those rich sauces.....
14Sex is not a weapon.
15My man gets home from work earlier than I do so it's his job to start cooking dinner so that we aren't eating at 8:00 every night.
16I love to cook. If a guy comes into my life he can do the dishes.
Using sex to get something is pretty much never a good idea.
17I'm sure he is joking. He's a guy so he knows they'd just spank it.
18Thank you freegracefrom.
Our media has completely perverted sex. What a stupid comment.
19Too funny. There are other less demeaning ways to go about getting him to cook for you.
20Hahhahahahaha.
21Um, I enjoy cooking and sex so that's not going to work for me! Usually if I ask the dude to have something ready, it happens or he takes me out for dinner.
22I cook while he does dishes, or fixes the car, or takes the trash out, or does laundry...and then we have sex, so I think I am pretty even with my husband
23If you've ever seen his show, you know he's joking. Jamie rocks.
Luckily, I don't have this problem. My husband and I both love to cook. I have family members whose husbands won't set foot near the kitchen, though. That would get old real quick for me. We're totally 50/50 on household chores and responsibilities.
24I've always dated men who can cook.
25My husband is a better cook than I and he loves it so it's a non-issue. However ultimatums in any form never work. They usually end up screwing things up worse than they started out.
26Haha TidalWave I'm with you. I wouldn't give up sex for him to cook, I'd just stop cleaning the house or something like that. Withholding anything is kinda childish anyway.
