In the first half of this season's finale, we went from four Top Chef contestants, to three. It was a real treat of a challenge with loads of fresh Puerto Rican produce, and some high stakes drama. It was a fun watch, but the end might not please a lot of you, so let's start talking about it. Did you watch? Tell us what you thought in the comments! To check out my talking points, read more.
- First of all, Lisa's new hair-do: Love it or hate it?
- The tropical fruit spread looked great, but do you remember the one from Hawaii in season two? This one was nothing compared to that one, no?
- Did you see the scene where Richard nearly caught fire? At first I thought it was a weird CG effect.
- Would you eat that pig on a spit?
- Stephanie said she tried to pair chefs and sous chefs who got along well. Do you think that was true?
- Have you missed Andrew's one-liners?
- How awful would you have felt if you were Dale? Also, weren't you impressed with Stephanie's ability to keep cool and go with it?
- How is Richard going to get that car home from an island? More seriously, how did you feel about his win?
- Were you surprised to hear that Antonia was going home?
- What do you think about Lisa's congratulations comment and Richard's bronze medal comment? Do you think it was bad form for them not to say congrats, or do you think it was bad form for her to call it out?
- What have you thought of this season so far? Who are you rooting for?

1. She looks more clean cut.
It was always Stephanie, Blaise, and Dale for me
More than likely it will be Blaise!
12. I didn't see the beginning! :/
3. No :/
4. Spit?
5. She paired them accordingly to who had worked together in previous challenges. So I guess so.
6. Yes :/ He's very random.
7. I wanted to hug Dale. I missed him and was shocked when they brought him back as a sous chef. Stephanie seems like such a sweet heart. I don't think that I've ever seen her pissed and/or b*tchy throughout the whole season.
8. I would think that the car was just for show and to save money they will just give him one when he gets home. His win was deserved. He's going to win
9. Nope. Her dish didn't seem strong enough.
10. I think that Lisa needs to keep her mouth shut. Could she say that she had congratulated each and every person who had won? I don't think so. Stephanie didn't even need to say she was sorry unless she meant that she was sorry for herself that she has to work with her negative ass. Richard was right. Well said Richard! Lisa is a sore loser. Boo hoo.
11. Richard all the way
What is wrong with these judges?!? Lisa hasn't made anything decent in like 10 episodes. HOW is she still in the finals?!? Unbelievable. I'm starting to hate this show--Richard, Stephanie, & Dale should be left.
Lisa doesn't deserve to be there--no congratulations is required when you are in the bottom every single week & yet somehow make it to the final. If she had any professionalism, she would have dropped out--she just looks pathetic being there.
Stephanie for the win!!
2Yeah, totally poor taste of Lisa. Everyone is stressed out, no need to be selfish and bring up your inadequacy issues now.
3I was half asleep during the second half of the episode, but I am soooo tired of Lisa! She is never one to congratulate people, and whenever she's been in the bottom, she hasn't even looked at the person leaving (Andrew, Dale, and Spike too, maybe?). I felt awful for Andrew having to work helping her after she was such a b*tch to him. Plus, she doesn't deserve to be in the top three if you ask me. I don't know what the producers were thinking. She is a mediocre cook with a bad attitude - Dale was robbed.
4Lisa did seem just a bit less negative this episode, at least at first -- maybe it was the laid-back island setting, or maybe that old doo-rag was squeezing her brain too hard.
But yes, Negative Nancy resurfaced toward the end. So after enduring an extremely stressful challenge and saying goodbye to someone they truly liked and respected, Richard and Stephanie's first priority is supposed to be fawning over her? Tacky, tacky, tacky.
Speaking of tacky, is anyone else relieved that they ditched that uber-stupid "in front of a live audience" finale idea from last season?
51) Hate the har-do. She looks aweful.
He hasn't won in a while this win was long overdue. I'm curious to taste the malta
ribs(with beef though)
62) Didn't watch this is my forst season of Top Chef
3) Yeah, I saw that scene, it was kinda scary.
4) Eww I don't eat anything from a pig.
5) Steph did a really good job of pairing. She really wanted to make everyone happy.
6) Definitely missed Andrew. He's so funny. Him trying to buy produce in the market was hilarious
7) I've already expressed by dislike of Dale but I did feel sorry for him. I was so surprised that Steph just rose above it and moved on. Those two work really good together.
9) I was so shocked, didnot see this one coming. I was kinda pissed, it just annoys me when reality shows keep people on for entertainment and not for talent. Because Lisa should have been gone a couple of episodes ago. She's been in the bottom more than anyone else.
10) Lisa's a whiny botch, that is all. How can one person be so negative. Its just astounding
11) Awesome season with Richard to take it all.
1. it's better than her old hair but i still don't like it
72. i think that Hawaii had it's own special quality that can't be tmatched. yes PR is awesome, but it's not hawaii..that's for sure.
3. i'm surprised that they didn't say more about that - it was INSANE and gave me flash backs to Hell's Kitchen...
4. GOD NO - even if i wasn't a vegetarian, it made me really ill to look at
5. i think that it was to an extent, but i think that with lisa, there was just no one that she could be paired with that she would get along.
6. to be honest, no - they were mostly inappropriate anyway
7. You know, i think that Dale understands the way the show works, and yes it sucks, but he did save Steph's ass, and you know that she appreciated it. she should have given him some credit for the salad though. i think that it was impressive that she didn't freak out though...even though Dale really screwed her over with forgetting to put the pork away.
8. I thought that Stephanie should have won, and gee i didn't think about the car to the states thing. i guess the show has a big budget so they can ship it, get it through customs, and get it to where ever richard lives.
9. VERY - i thought that she had a chance at winning and i REALLY REALLY wanted lisa to go home.
10. To be honest, they are all in such a high stress environment, and Lisa hasn't been the best person to compete against, so you can't really blame them for not jumping to say congrats. I think that they were just all a bit upset that antonia left...and well...richard wasn't out of line. yes they are all in the finals..but she barely made it so she needs to suck it up. it's really not bad form at all.
11. The season was kind of lack luster in my opinion, but i'm still rooting for Stephanie to win...i really hope that she does.
All I have to say is I hate Lisa. She gets on my nerves more and more each episide, I wanted to crawl through the TV last night and hit her with that meat tenderizer/bone breaking toy.
And I'm glad Dale came back, even if he sort of had a mishap. Again I wanted to crawl through the TV but this time to give Dale a hug.
81. At least she chopped off that greasy nightmare. Not that it seemed to help with anything else.
92. I don't know - that Hawaiian spread was pretty sweet as well.
3. Fire is fun!
4. Hells yeah, I'd eat that!
5. I do think that was true. She may not have gotten it totally right, but I think she tried. I might be giving her too much credit, but I don't think that Stephanie does those sorts of things.
6. I *have* missed Andrew. I missed the way he plays with integrity and I miss the levity he brought to the show.
7. I would have complained to the judges that I screwed up and Stephanie should have some sort of compensation. But Stephanie handled the whole situation with such aplomb! I think that alone spoke volumes. Think about how the other chefs would have reacted. Richard would have been totally lost, Antonia would have freaked out even more and burned more rice, and Lisa would have exploded. Dale, for all of his bombast and pompous abrasiveness (or abrasive pomposity) is an honorable man with a lot of talent and a strong sense of personal responsibility - things that both Lisa and Spike lacked.
8. That car is great, and I think they're going to give him a car in Atlanta. This one was for TV. Am I psyched about his win? Absolutely. Those ribs sounded stunning.
9. I was surprised that Lisa hasn't gone home earlier, and I'm kind of bummed she's not gone. But last night - totally Antonia's time.
10. This is why she's not going to win Top Chef. She's in it for the prestige and not for the joy of cooking. Lisa's a poor sport, and wanting that from her competitors was brought up in the last tactful way possible. It was poor form not to congratulate her, sure, but one does not SEEK it if it is not offered. Lame.
11. I've been less impressed with this season than I was with last year's. A few chefs were booted before their time: think Mark, Andrew, and Dale. And a few chefs hung around way too long: Nikki, Spike, and Lisa. It's been too much about the drama and not about the food - that's not why I watch the show. I'll be psyched if either Richard or Stephanie wins it. If Lisa does, I'll be very annoyed.
I was so bummed out w/last night's results! Almost makes me not to watch the finale, I just hope Stephanie wins..or Richard, honestly I would be ok if he wins too, but I'm really rooting for Stephanie!
I just don't want to see Lisa appear on my tv screen another week!
I was blown away with Stephanie's calmness and composure when Dale left her pork out overnight. She did not show one bit of upset or stress...just throw it out and we'll figure it out, I thought that was amazing!
Can you imagine if that had happened to Lisa, she would have flipped, been swearing and definitely would have told the judges and blamed him! I felt so bad for Dale too in that moment...! So happy it worked out ok for both of them!
Please please Stephanie...pull it out! My fingers will be crossed!
10How hilarious was Richard's comment about Lisa "winning the bronze medal"? HA ha ha
I think Stephanie and Richard and both great and would love for either of them to win!
111. I didn't love it, but at least she cut her hair.
2. I agree, but maybe they were trying to cater to the fruits specific to Puerto Rico, which would of course result in a different spread. To be honest, I didn't pay that much attention.
3. This part totally made me jump. I thought he actually had caught on fire. I loved his response - just surprise and then laughter; no big deal, on with the cooking.
4. Maybe I've just been to too many tailgates/BBQs with athletes, but I've had pig from a spit many times. It looks really freaky, but the meat is terrific.
5. I don't think Stephanie is one of those trying "play the game" like Spike (which is why she's so good). I think she was thinking immediately of Dale and Lisa when she mentioned the yelling in the kitchen. How can she help that Lisa doesn't get along with anyone?
6. Somewhat. I felt so badly for him at the mercado. It was funny, but I would have been in the exact same position.
7. Poor, poor Dale. That's just something that might happen in an overcrowded, unfamiliar kitchen. I was so proud that he promptly and sincerely apologized, Steph took a second to refocus, then they moved right on to planning a new dish. Now, that is how chefs who respect each other work together.
8. Hee. I didn't even think about that. Maybe this car was for show. I was really excited that Richard won. I was starting to worry that TPTB were giving him the loser edit and was so glad he pulled out the win.
9. Yes. But that is driven by the fact that I dislike Lisa so much. I don't think that Antonia or Lisa are anywhere near to Richard and Stephanie in ability. Antonia had a really hard time this challenge, but at least she has her restaurant to go back to and I'm sure her daughter is really proud of her.
10. Seriously, as some mentioned above, Lisa seemed to really be trying in this episode. And I was thinking to myself, "huh, maybe she's not that bad. She clearly won't be so intolerable during the finale." She even managed to control herself during judging. Then, WTF? I couldn't believe she actually said that to them. She didn't even congratulate Richard when he won minutes before.
I think Richard's quote was possibly the best quote I have ever heard from Top Chef. Blaise (and Stephanie) have really been above the reality show name-calling and criticism the whole season, so his frustration with Lisa was sooooo obvious by the fact that he said anything at all.
1211. I've liked the quality of the chefs, but wish they would have had more individual challenges like these last ones, which really feature the cooking. Too many team/catering challenges this season. I'd be happy with Stephanie or Richard winning. Both of them really deserve it.
1. I can't stand Lisa - it is hard to say she looks better, but I guess she does.
132. Plain and simple the fruit in Hawaii is better - PR is not really known for its delicious and juicy fruit.
3. Catching fire. WOW. Richard gets cooler and cooler each episode.
4. I have and would again - SO SO SO good.
5. I do think she did a good pairing of chefs. Antonia had picked Nikki in a past round, and after picking Dale for herself (fellow CHI-town chef, as well as the one who should be playing still) the only options for Lisa were Spike and Andrew - Andrew has a lot of bark, but Spike would have done something spiteful and evil to Lisa (which I kind of would have liked)
6. Andrew and his one liners - hadn't thought about missing them, so I guess not. Love him though, for his personality.
7. I would have hated myself, and I think that Dale was genuine when he said that he wouldn't be able to forgive himself. Stephanie proved right then that she is an AMAZING chef and person and just kept going.
8. Good for Richard on the win, it is hard not to like him.
9. WTF. Lisa should have gone home, like during restaurant wars, Antonia was robbed by Lisa like Dale was.
10. So what Lisa! Richard and Steph were sad that their friend was robbed of being in the finals and forgot to congratulate you? Big f-ing deal.
11. Stephanie then Richard for the win.
by the way...what is up with this season and not properly cooking rice!?!?!?!?
14I am so sick of Lisa, even if Antonia's dish wasn't strong last night, her performance overall has been better than Lisa's in my opinion. They should take that into consideration. I guess they just wanted to keep the conflict in there.
15I can't believe she complained about not being congratulated for not being sent home. Richard had it completely right!
I think Stephanie and Richard both did an awesome job, especially Stephanie in the loss of the pork belly.
I think she paired everyone up nicely. I mean, Lisa had a problem with almost everyone so it's not a big surprise she got someone she wouldn't have preferred.
Anyways, for me it's a toss up between Stephanie and Richard!
Antonia was an overall better cook throughout the competition HOWEVER her dishes in this episode truly looked unappetizing! And to put all of it on the same plate doesn't make sense to me. It all looked like a brown mess that your puerto rican grandma would put together. Yuck.
I can't stand Lisa. It wouldn't surprise me if Stephanie won.
(Richard is obviously going to get a different car in his hometown, that was just a show off, not his actual car, duh).
16Lisa has a terrible attitude and she was insane to call out Stephanie and Richard for not congratulating her. Quit being such a baby! This is why they don't like you enough to want you in the final 3 in the first place crazy! Richard congrats on her bronze medal was hilarious.
I want Stephanie to win! She was made amazing food and had a lot of wins over the season and always stays calm and focused even when things don't turn out quite right.
171. I don't love her do but I do think it makes her look a little less mean.

182. Hawaii's spread was awesome compared to PR. however, they're 2 completely different locations that can't be compared.
3. I was a little scared when i saw this scene. I'm surprised he wasn't in more pain.
4. I wouldn't eat that pig unless it was already cut up and put on my plate. :/
5. I think she did a good job. I don't think she did anything or paired anyone (cough, lisa and andrew) to hurt their chances.
6. I LOVE ANDREW!
7. I felt SO bad for dale but mostly for stephanie. she totally kept her cool while i would have been a bawling mess.
8. LOL hopefully the network will be nice enough to ship it back to his home. I'm not sure if he totally deserved the win, but those ribs did look MIGHTY tasty!
9. I was really surprised...i'm SO sick of lisa being in the bottom two and the other, more deserving person going home. she's not a quality chef and i feel the show's producers only keep her because ofthe drama she provides.
10. lisa needs to get over herself and realize that she's clearly the worst chef of the bunch. her insecurities made her ask for that congratulations. while i probably would have done what stephanie did, it wouldn't have been a sincere congrats. i LOLed when Richard made that bronze medal comment; because that's what Lisa got...
11. I'm a little disappointed by this season. I like the challenges and all but the way the eliminations are being handled make me suspect that some pulling of strings is happening.
PS: GO STEPHANIE!!
First of all for ilanac13 Customs is for when you have left the country, Puerto Rico is part of US. Just a little geography lesson to start the day!
191. I think she saw herself on TV and ran for the clippers, definitely not professionally cut! better than before though!
2. Hawaii was pretty hard to beat.
3. That was a little scary, but he handled it well, I hope his eyebrows have grown back!
4. That pig is probably delicious!! I would totally eat it.
5. I thought she did well. Lisa didn't have any options for someone that she works well with cause she doesn't work well with people!! Also Stephanie is going to look out for the people she likes first. I thought it was nice to known that she had known Dale for ten years and they handled the pork belly situation so well. I like her more and more. I also think Dale was robbed.
6. It is a cooking show not an offensive one liners show.
7. I kind of answered this one already.
8. I am glad Richard won. Loved him using the Malta with the ribs, yummy.
9. Antonia messed up, but she is such a better chef than Lisa!!!! I can't stand Lisa!!!
10. Another reason not to like her!! That was so uncalled for and insecure and stupid!!! No one likes her!! Get over it!
11. I would be happy with either Richard or Stephanie. I don't think Lisa has a chance at all.
I forgot to mention that Padma and Gail looked amazing! I love both their dresses and props to Gail for looking good standing next to Padma!
20Lisa is just insecure because even she and 91% of viewers thought that she should have gone home!!! she really is a VIRUS!!! terrible. richards bronze medal comment was amazing. the commercials for this week were so ominous i thought richard was going to get hurt. haha. thaaaaank god. i hope that for part 2 of the finale... they realize that lisa doesn't deserve to be there... and they just tell her to forget it and go home...
211. Lisa's Hair - it's not bad. It's an improvement. She's still a witch.
222. This one was nothing at all on Hawaii
3. I loved his line "Can you smell my eyebrows?"
4. Oh yes, I'd eat that pig on a spit. With a spoon. Like Bourdain says, some men like porn, he likes to watch pigs on spits.
5. Stephanie did a good job pairing the sous-chefs. I'm glad she picked Dale. He really was the best of that bunch, just lacked maturity and leadership skills.
6. I have not missed Andrew's one-liner or any other aspect of Andrew.
7. I felt terrible for the both of them but how cool was it that they figured out how to save it, with no hysteria. I also think nothing but positive for her because it was never mentioned again. Not to the judges, not in the talking heads. THAT is class.
8. I wondered how he was gonna get that car home! He deserved the win. And I want to make Malta ribs now.
9. I was not surprised Antonia was told to PHKAG, but I was very disappointed. I loved the "Kick their asses" whisper to Stephanie
10. Richard hit the nail on the head. Congratulations, you won the bronze medal. I wanted to say "Congratulations, you've been to Judge's Table as a least-favorite eight times now and you're in the finals. Such an achievement." All she said to him was "You won a F@$&ing car, dude?" when he won. She was completely out of line.
11. It's been a different, but good season. I have not enjoyed it as much as I did Season 3, but it's still Top chef and it's still good. Go Richard! Go Stephanie! Go Home Lisa!
1. Love it. Her long hair made her look greasy. Now she just fits the chefbian stereotype.
233. Yes! It was crazy. His comment about smelling his burnt eyebrows made me laugh. At least he wasn't seriously burnt.
4. Nope.
5. I think she did try to pair people who got along-- in that they wouldn't kill each other and be unstoppable. She kept the friendly competition up. She is nothing like the scheming Andrew.
6. Not at all.
7. Awful!!! That is why she is my favorite.
8. Good question. I think his face of shock was classic. I think he deserved to win.
9. Yes, and no. I am so sad that she was sent home but she did make a huge mistake.
10. I agreed with Richard! I think that they were in shock and trying to deal with it and she was being childish.
11. I'm addicted to Top Chef. ADDICTED. I have been rooting for Stephanie since the first episode. She is my absolute favorite.
while i think that stephanie and dale handled the pork belly situation very well, i was a little stunned that stephanie hadn't checked that everything was put away before they left the kitchen - it is a competition after all, i would be double and triple-checking everything even if i had a sous chef!
i hope richard wins, at first i did not like him, but he really grew on me.
24Man oh man...some of these questions hit right on point with my thoughts last night.
1. Hells No! To her and her -do
252. Agreed.
3. It's happened to me with my possessed stove more often than not, so I related.
4. No. Not a big fan of pork. But who knows...my nose really rules my stomach so if it smelled good, maybe! LOL.
5. Perhaps...with the glaring exception of Lisa/Andrew. Hate.Her.
6. Love.Him.
7. My heart went out to him. I think he's adorable when he gets teary because he's had such a f- you attitude in many of the episodes and you realize that he's got a softy-center! I like him alot and glad to see him back. I would feel the same way because it was his fault even if it was an innocent mistake. In the commotion of everyone being in a tight space, working on top of each other it gets tough to keep track of everything. Perhaps if she had her own neon pink tape marking the meat she would've seen it?
7. I said that to my husband! His reply? "I would just move to PR."
8. Yes. I understand that undercooked beans, especially at this stage in the contest, are a fundamental flaw and unacceptable, but didn't they say that each one of Lisa's dishes had a mistake whereas, Antonia's mistake were the beans. I have a huge problem with Lisa making it to this stage not only because, well she sucks, but that she keeps staying by the skin of her teeth! To me, poor tasting or imbalanced flavoring in ALL of the dishes is more of a reason to go home than undercooked beans. On top of it, every friggin week she says the same thing when she's saved...."Thanks. You won't be disappointed." WTF?! How many lives does this cat have?! GO HOME!
9. I was surprised with Lisa's comment because what the hell was there to congratulate?? Then Richard PERFECTLY stated that what did she want? To be congratulated for the bronze? What a biatch. Just really don't like her cooking style, her attitude, that fugly stance and face she has at EVERY judges table and now her sense of entitlement to a "congrats" for, once again, barely getting by. She hit the nail on the head with her observation that there was a feeling that the wrong person went home. Well. Duh genius.
10. It's been better, but it's not the worst. Yes, I'd love to see a woman win, but I really like Stephanie and Richard both. Great culinary skills, but also great attitudes in the kitchen and towards others. If for some unforeseeable reason, Lisa wins this season (which I don't think she has since she's accepted the job to help out Spike at Mai House) I will quit watching Top Chef and send Chef Tom hate mail! LOL...ok, I'm kidding about the hate mail...but seriously how ridiculous would it be if one of the most untalented finalists in TC history won?
Man....I didn't realize it was THAT long.
26Lisa's new hair = no. Antonia gone = sad. Stephanie for the win.
271. It's certainly better than it was before. I love how Stephanie just said, "you chopped your hair off" with no commentary on liking it or not. That alone made me like Stephanie more!
282. Oh, Hawaii!!
3. Yes! I worried! "Did you just smell my eyebrows?"
4. Yup.
5. I think she really did a good job with this -- I love Spike and Blais together (I think they worked better this time than ever before), Nikki was calming for Antonia, Andrew and Lisa finally seemed to get along a bit, and Stephanie choosing Dale for her own was not only an easy choice, but a good one!
6. I've missed the Andrew and Spike effect -- such a bromance.
7. Dale and Stephanie both really impressed me this round. Stephanie was cool and dealt with the pork belly incident. Dale was dedicated to being the best help Steph could have, and I really felt his pain when he realized his mistake.
8. I'm sure Blais will find a way! I was pleased with his win -- he's been sort of slogging in the middle for the past few challenges, and I was glad to see him back in his element.
9. FLOORED! I find it so hard to swallow that, after constantly turning in great performances, she would be kicked off for bad beans -- whereas Lisa has constantly been in the bottom. Not to mention her bad attitude!
10. My jaw dropped when Lisa called Steph and Blais out on this. It was RIDICULOUS for her to do that -- completely pointless. The bronze medal comment was the meanest thing Blais has ever said -- and it was well-deserved and on point.
11. I have LOVED this season -- great mix of chefs and talents, inventive challenges, great-looking food (and, um, great-looking Spike). I've been pulling for Blais since the beginning. I'd love the final two to be he and Steph -- they are both very talented, but I think Blais has the edge -- he excels in the tricky stuff, but is always able to do real and wonderful food. He's a real talent.
I think it is between Blais and Stephanie. Lisa doesn't deserve to be there at this point in the competition.
29Lisas Hair- You cant pretty up whats ugly on the inside.
would I eat that Pig- I would eat it tip to tail baby!
I think Stephanie did her best pairing the chefs.
Dale and the Pork belly Incident- OMG poor dale! but steph and him handled it like Pros. i would hate to see how much the censors would have had to work overtime if Lisa had that happen to her.
Richards Car- He looked so surprised and happy!
Antonia leaving- I wasnt surprised "al dente Peas?" please. But i wasnt happy either.
Lisa's Bronze medal- It was rude of her to even say anything, but what do you expect from a lowlife.
Who I want to Win- I am happy with either richard or Steph Both have been the utmost professionals, happy people, good sports. Lisa hasnt a chance in Hades.
30PS i cant wait to see what goes down on the reunion. I am sure Lisa will say the "editing" made her look bad.......
31It's official. Lisa is Top Chef's Wendy Pepper.
32Friggen B.S.
That is all I have to say.
33Haha--I agree about Lisa's hair!! And I'm sure Lisa will say she was made out to be the villain, but she gave them all that bad material to edit--I'm sure we just saw the half of it! I'm just convinced there is some kind of conspiracy going on, because I cannot figure out why they keep Lisa around. She is consistently in the bottom, and Atonia NEVER is!! WTF! And her comment on them not congratulating her just made me laugh--I mean she has a perpetual bad attitude and YES they probably did think the wrong chef went home!! And I do think Stephanie was nice and did try to pair people who got along, but no one likes Lisa so that was impossible!
I also am rooting for Richard or Stephanie! They have been solid and professional!
34OMG GeekSugar, SHE IS WENDY PEPPER--I love love love the analogy!
35I liked Wendy Pepper a lot more than I like Lisa. Watching reruns now and I think she really should have gone home in the improv challenge and Jen should have stayed!! Oy! How many times should she have gone home?! So Many!!!
361. Lisa's hair is dog. It makes her pooface at judge's table even worse
372. Season 2 seems like ages ago
3. Saw it
4. Hell yes. I was surprised to see that they showed the whole pig, eyes cut out and all. But did you guys see when Tom unveiled the pig, flies went buzzing off? Ewe.
5. Yeah she did. It's Lisa's fault she sucks and had problems with half the sous chefs.
6. No
7. I would have felt terrible! Steph's cool attitude and ability to shake it off and come up with a stellar fix with Dale shows why she deserves to be a finalist.
8. I was hoping he would ask them that. That was the first thing that popped into my head. Richard definitely deserved the win.
9. No, once they said, "undercooked peas" you knew what was going to happen. Maybe it was me, but I sensed that the judges weren't happy that Lisa was still there. In previous seasons they always embraced the underdog and reconfirmed why they were a finalist (i.e. Dave from season 1 and his layered flavors), but all they had to say to Lisa was that she has been on the chopping block several times consecutively. I can't let it go... that pooface she makes... I wanted Mr. Bourdain to say something snarky when he was a guess judge a few weeks ago.
10. Just another reason to dislike her. At least the "that guy" (S1 Steven, S2 Marcel, S3 Hung)of all the other seasons were legit and could cook. Richard's bronze medal comment was hysterical. I hope Lisa sees the episode on TV. Is that mean? I wonder how the reunion show will go down.
11. It was obvious from the start who the best people were. Kind of makes it boring. Overall, the talent pool doesn't seem too deep this time around.
I've given up watching Top Chef because I can't stand Lisa! I just read the comments here each week. It's sad because I usually love this show and trust the judges, but this year has been pretty bad in my opinion.
381. Don't really care about her hair... cause I would prefer she was not even in Peurto Rico! She has been in the bottom too many times to be in the top 4, or top 3 for that matter.

392. Looked delicious
3. Missed that- must have been when the phone rang.. will catch it on the replay
4. Absolutely would and absolutely have!!
5. Yes I think she did a great job- and it shows her maturity as a chef and a person since she tried to give everyone a complementing chef instead of trying to sabotage her fellow chefs like Spike did in the cop/boxed lunch challenge
6. Ugh- he is like an advertisement for Adderall-XR. He makes my head hurt
7. It was good to see Dale show an emotion besides anger or conceited bragging. I did truly see that he felt bad and his quick thinking helped Stephanie come up with another dish that ultimately was Tom's favorite of hers! Stephanie is the best all-around chef and will likely be the best restaurant owner in the future because of her ability to stay calm in situations like that.
8. Richard put a lot of thought into each dish.... I think he deserved the win. Honestly, it was probably a toss up between him and Stephanie, but his menu was more cohesive.
9. SHOCKED and ANGRY.... i feel like Lisa only stayed on the show for the drama she brings, not her talent as a chef. Antonia has won many quick fires and challenges, especially towards the end of the competition, while Lisa has just gotten angry about her rice disasters in EVERY episode. Antonia is a chef who truly cooks from her heart.
10. I think Lisa is immature and wants people to think she is a victim all the time- obviously Stephanie and Richard were upset that Antonia left because the three of them had such strong bonds! Lisa has done nothing but annoy EVERYONE since they got to Chicago with her pessimistic attitude, why WOULD they be excited for her to stay?? Richard was right on with his comment, although it did bring him down to her level with the petty comments
11. I think the season has been too heavy on the catering challenges- I like more menu planning and original dishes/weird ingredient challenges than the teamwork/catering challenges that just cause fighting and drama (better tv?) I will be rooting for Stephanie in the finale, but I will not be upset if RIchard wins either. Both are excellent chefs who have kept the focus on their cooking, not on the outside drama.
How about a finale twist? A tie with 2 winners. (And one bronze)
40What a great episode - it really showed each of the chef's good and bad sides. I have to preface this by saying that I know Stephanie from college and have always been a big fan of hers, so I am really pulling for her to win. I think that her coolness under pressure last night was the true test of a great chef and I only hope that the judges saw the footage to help with their final decision!!!
41i really didn't get lisa's "congratulations" comment at all. had they been doing that all along? "congrats on not getting kicked off!?" it seriously made no sense to me.
i was shocked antonia went home. i didn't care for her as much as i like richard and stephanie, but i def. thought lisa should have gone home before her. just shows how editing can sway things. i totally thought they were gearing up for lisa's leaving but no.
as much as i really want a female to win (and i do love stephanie) i gotta say, i like richard a lot and i think he's hilarious. his bronze medal comment was amazing, but what i love the most is that's the meanest he's been the entire show lol. just seems like a nice guy.
42I'm a little upset that Antonia went home last night instead of Lisa. In fact, I'm almost convinced that they are keeping Lisa on the show for affect. I mean...you can't have 3 "good guys" on the show. You gotta have at least one bad egg aka Lisa. I'm not completely anti-Lisa but her bad attitude is getting to me. Plus, I feel Antonia to be an overall better chef.
I'm just glad Stephanie is still there. I'm totally rooting for her! I'd love to see her take it all home. I love Richard and wouldn't hate for him to win I just feel Stephanie deserves it more. Plus, come on. It's time for a girl to win this!
431. First of all, Lisa's new hair-do: Love it or hate it? It's much better than what she had before.
442. The tropical fruit spread looked great, but do you remember the one from Hawaii in season two? This one was nothing compared to that one, no? Yeah, the one from Hawaii was soo much better. But hey, I'm biased.
3. Did you see the scene where Richard nearly caught fire? At first I thought it was a weird CG effect. I thought that was for real when I saw it but wonder how he could not have a single burn after seeing that fire.
4. Would you eat that pig on a spit? Hell yeah! That's how filipinos roast their pig.
5. Stephanie said she tried to pair chefs and sous chefs who got along well. Do you think that was true? Yes. Too bad for Lisa that she doesn't get along with at least half of the group.
6. Have you missed Andrew's one-liners? Yes, he's so silly.
7. How awful would you have felt if you were Dale? Omigosh, I felt sick to my stomach when Dale realized he left the ribs out. Also, weren't you impressed with Stephanie's ability to keep cool and go with it? I was surprised Stephanie didn't just break down and cry but I guess that's a trait of a great chef, to improvise and make the best of the situation.
8. How is Richard going to get that car home from an island? More seriously, how did you feel about his win? I laugh he has a Beamer or some other luxury car at home and has absolutely no need for it. It didn't seem like he was that excited.
9. Were you surprised to hear that Antonia was going home? I had a feeling when they asked her how long she cooked her beans.
10. What do you think about Lisa's congratulations comment and Richard's bronze medal comment? Do you think it was bad form for them not to say congrats, or do you think it was bad form for her to call it out? It was such bad form for her to say, "Oh, congratulate me." Come on, who says that? It's obvious they don't care for her so much. Why does she have to cause drama like that? I don't remember the bronze model comment. I guess I have to replay it on my DVR. I am very curious though on what he said at the end of the final challenge.
11. What have you thought of this season so far? Who are you rooting for? I liked this season. Lots of drama though! Oh, at first I was rooting for Richard, now Stephanie. Either way, I hope one of those two will win. If Lisa wins, I'll have to boycott this show forever.
I still wish Dale was one of the top 3 though.
1.can't possibly "love" anything about lisa...she's a hag. that being said it's an improvement fr. what was on top of her nasty head before
454. i'd try ti pig on a spit, it's prob delish
5. yes, steph doesn't seem mean spirited and nasty
6. yes, andrew was funny!
7. steph was cool as a cucumber, to be honest that's what u have to do...figure it out. yelling and ranting like ahem lisa, that someone is sabotaging her rice! sabotaging her all the time....jeez, you're supposed to be a professional. ACT like one! good job steph.
8. i'm sure bravo will have a car sent to richard's home, or he;ll pick one up fr. his area
9. i was super sad that antonia was going home, but it didn't sounds like she was the winner there on this one...
10. lisa's a hag, i hate her and wish she wasn't on the show anymore.
11. too bad it wasn't dale, richard, antonia and stephanie in this past episode...that's what it should have been. i'm rooting for steph and richard they're both awesome!
i gotta admit, i am totally in love with andrew and am so curious to try his food (as i live in nyc)....
but really, every episode i kind of hope for an andrew appearance - every time he's around, i am super excited!
