In my opinion, tequila is an underrated liquor. I usually only use it to make margaritas or take shots. However, I've recently decided to experiment with the Mexican spirit in other drinks, like the cocktail seen here. This recipe was surprisingly refreshing and not too strong. With chunks of fresh pineapple and a slight fizz, it tasted like a tequila sangria. This sensational concoction is wonderful on a warm afternoon. I definitely plan on making it again, perhaps as an alternative to margs at my next fiesta. To see how I made it, read more.

5I've never been the biggest tequila fan, but it has its place now and then.
A friend of mine said that tequila was the only kosher for passover hard alcohol and that thus tequila was all he subsisted on during the holiday. Anyone out there want to confirm or deny?
6I agree that tequila is underrated. That coctail looks delish!
7Saw it and had to try it! My hubby and I made them tonight.......YUM! We used only 8 oz of tequila instead of 10 and it was good
8Sounds refreshing!
9mmm tequila drinks so good unless it is made with Cuervo that stuff is HORRIBLE and should NOT be called tequila!!!
10mmm tequila is my favorite, and this drink sounds great. I like to just mix tequila with grapefruit soda sometimes too.
11Mmmm, I love tequila, and finding new ways to use it.
@shoneyjoe http://www.kashrut.com/articles/liquor2/ gives the Kosher For Passover rundown on beers and liquors. Tequila not the only kosher choice for Passover, not by a long shot. I think you friend just liked his tequila.
12@clickmichelle: That list specifies items that are kosher in general, as opposed to kosher for passover.
