We have a white KitchenAid stand mixer, that *I* never use, but DH uses regularly, usually to make pizza and calzone dough. I really wish it was cobalt, but it was a gift, so I shouldn't
complain.
I definitely don't do enough baking to need one. But the yellow KitchenAid would look lovely in my kitchen. I could pretend it's for something more than decoration.
Mine was a graduation gift. It is a pale turqoise blue that was a limited edition color from William and Sonoma. I LOVE IT even though we don't use it that much - once or twice a month. Even
my husband is impressed by its strength and the cool attachments.
I've got a red KitchenAid stand mixer that I use all the time! At least once a week, usually more (unless I'm horrifically busy with some other project or other).
MindayH: you wish. Frankly, we ALL do...
I so want one, and am searching for reasons to indulge myself. Sad thing is, I'm not creative enough for that yet.
I got my kitchenaid the best way possible, it was a gift from Martha Stewart! I went to a taping of her show and she gave the whole audience a pink mixer and along with some other things. I
was so excited I think i might have acutally teared up a little. ha ha
How about anyone who answered "Yes, but I never use it" contacts me and offers me a deal? Or any of the other people who commented that they really want one.
I have multiple red Kitchenaid appliances- I probably do not use them as much as they are worth but I do not cook that much now- maybe once we have kids they will be put to better use- for
now, they look great on my counter!
I received a white Kitchen Aid artisan mixer for Christmas and love it - I use it at least once a week. Before, I used a hand mixer and never really longed for a stand mixer, but now I
appreciate how much easier it makes my life and I just love it. - especially the dough hook.
I have the charcoal grey industrial Kitchen-Aid mixer, its gorgeous, I love it, but I NEVER use it. It really is a crime, considering some generous wedding guest spent nearly $500 on it and
it does nothing but sit on my counter and look pretty.
I have a white one because I've had it so long that was all that was available at the time. Love all the new colors. "Problem" is they never wear out so unless I give mine away I'm stuck with
the white. BTW, my mom and my great aunt both have them and they (the mixers) are still going strong after probably 30 years at least.
o i totally want one- i just don't want to get it til i have my own place and decide what color i want! i wouldn't use it regularly- but in the fall and winter i bake a ton so it'd get use
those months for sure!
My husband bought mine for me almost 20 yrs ago -- back before all the colors were available -- and it's still going strong. I use it more when the weather is cooler and I'm baking.
I have an old white Kitchenaid (one of the really good old ones back when they were made by Hobart) that I got from my boyfriend's mom. I lamented that I'd love to have a Kitchenaid and she
said "Hmm... I think I have one of those somewhere..." Next time, I saw her, she gave it to me! It rocks!
I have the black industrial KitchenAid Mixer. I would have loved the standard one, because the black is shiny, but I let my bf pick the color and the mixer...he lets me pick so many things,
it was his turn.
I have a white Kitchenaid. I bake all the time and had been lusting after Kitchenaid mixers for years, and my Parents generously got me one for my last Birthday! I use it all the time (I just
used it today to make brownies, and made cookies for my Dad on Father's Day).
i don't understand why everyone has a KitchenAid one. I have read so many reviews saying that they are not worth the extra money - above the Cuisinart one I bought a week ago. I got my white
Cuisinart 5L mixer on sale for $100 off, plus a free blender attachment. So far, i've used it everyday! My roommie (best friend) and I bake a lot and make pizza dough, bread etc in it too.The
blender attachment is pretty sweet and a great size with wide bottom. Anyway, I love my Cuisinart mixer!!!
I own a white Kitchen Aid, from the seventies, that was my mom's I use it all the time and have no desire to replace it - she is gone and it's a part of her that lives on - she taught me how
to cook and bake.
tdamji, ha I just realized the post wasn't "do you have a KITCHEN AID stand mixer?" I totally assumed that is what she was talking about b/c of the picture. I can't speak for everyone else,
but the reason I have one is that they last for decades, and they're just iconic! So, part of it is a "label" thing, part of it is a durability thing.
unfortunately i do not own one (nor do i have the space to!) but i would absolutely love to have one! everytime i go into williams sanoma i stare obsessively over them!

6Next giveaway maybe???
7I feel like it's not really baking or cooking if you use a stand mixer...almost as if it's not hard enough? Especially the kneading bread option!
8I am swooning. As a college student I have neither the money nor the space for a standing mixer but would totally love one!
9Red. Use it frequently, but not quite as often now that it lives in a cupboard and not on the counter since we have moved).
10Other: No because I am afraid it would be a waste of space. I bake all the time but I just use a hand mixer
11I answered:
No, I don't do enough baking to need a standing mixer.
But it's also:
No, but I really want one!
Even though it wouldn't get enough use to justify the cost, I would dearly love to own a kitchen aid!
12I don't have one but it's on my things to buy list. I want the baby blue one.
13MindayH: you wish. Frankly, we ALL do...

32shoneyjoe, I have seen them for pretty cheap on craigslist. As low as like 100 bucks when people are combining households.
33I love my white mixer. It's fabulous! Use it all the time.

38Mine is pistachio and I use it at least once a week. I love it as much as I can love an inanimate object. Possibly more.
39I would love to have one of these. I did so much baking for the holidays last year that this probably could have saved me time and energy.

42Yes. Mine is nickel color. I looooove it. I bought a refurbished one on Amazon and got an amazing deal.
43I own a white Kitchen Aid, from the seventies, that was my mom's I use it all the time and have no desire to replace it - she is gone and it's a part of her that lives on - she taught me how to cook and bake.
44Black KitchenAid, LOVE IT!
45I had so many dreams when I received mine for Christmas. Alas, it has become a very expensive paper weight.
