I'm a fan of breakfast sandwiches, even big ones, but this overstuffed fried egg and french fry creation from Pittsburgh's famed Primanti Bros. might be too huge for me to handle. Still, I'd be willing to try! Would you undertake this slaw- and tomato-adorned egg sandwich?

if it weren't for the hugeness. don't know about the cabbage either, but maybe.
1Yikes! That thing looks terrible. I'd still try it though.
2
ugh thats awful
3Minus the fries, it looks similar to a sandwich common in the Dominican Republic called a "huevo burger" or egg burger. Fried egg, cabbage, tomato, ketchup and mayo on a huge bun.
4ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY.
5Well whatever you do, don't ask for it with the fries on the side; they get super pissed.
6I've had that sandwich! (It's really the only thing to eat at Primantis if you're a vegetarian.)
7minus the fries, I'd eat that. (and the tomato but that's for everything, i just don't eat them)
8I know most people will probably say "eww no that's so bad for you", but I say HeII's Yes!
9Would beer be provided?
10Not only would I eat that yummy piece of heart-stopping lovefest, but I'd ask it to Prom. Prease to Fedex!
11"Would I?" implies "would I dare?" Of course. I'm sure that it's delicious. I particularly like that it has slaw and tomatoes. But it is much too big to get a taste of all the ingredients in one bite (at least for me).
12If by "under the right circumstances" you mean "hungover," then yes!
13If I could lose the slaw and the tomatoes (due to personal preferences), and if I could divide it into several meals (my stomach seriously could not handle a sandwich that size), yes indeedy, I would eat it!
14nacita, That's what I was thinking. That's some serious post pub crawl grub!
15I would totally try it!!!!!!! Maybe not eat it again but try it? I say YES!
16In college I used to love my scaled down version of this sandwich-potato egg & cheese! Yum!
17if it weren't for the eggs and slaw.
18fries on a sandwich?.... heaven.
19I saw Primanti featured the other night on the Travel Channel. I would take a bite of this sandwich if someone else ordered it, but I wouldn't get one myself.
20Primanti Bros. rocks!!! As trashy as fries on a sandwich is, you can't deny it's tasty as hell. Primanti's has proven that pretty much everything is better with fries....
21ooo, and the slaw is important, too.
22could do without the slaw.....that be awesome after a good night boozing...then i wouldn't care if it had slaw! i wouldn't remember anyways.... :roftl:
23Of course I would. With a side of bacon.
24I love eggs and potatoes so I'd probably try it without the cabbage or the bread. Okay, so that defeats the purpose of a sandwich.
25That looks and sounds awful to me. Bleh...
26I *have* eaten this sandwich. It's delicious. Primanti Brothers was such a staple during college!
27The way i see it, if you are eating french fries and cole slaw on the side of your sandwiches anyway, why NOT dump it all in your sandwich. Granted, we're not going for portion control here or anything, but strictly indulgence speaking here, probably not a bad tasting meal. I just wouldn't order a side of potato salad with it.
28tlsgirl, can i come live with you?
29We have Chick Fila around here and I always eat their chicken sandwitches with slaw on top, but the fries on top too seem like too much. This is coming from a person who will crush up potato chips and put them on a hot dog with relish...
30I said no, but I will admit than when I eat a McDonald's cheeseburger, I do put my french fries on it...has to be mcdonald's and has to be a cheeseburger with no pickles. It's delish...but now that I am being healthier I won't be indulging in even that very often. yay me!
31I would buy it just to try it...and hopefully share with 4 people cause it's big enough for that and more...lmao
32i don't like slaw. it looks too big but i'd still try it
33Wooow. *awe* Daaamn.
How much is that monster?
I'd get it, but feed four or five or more people. Which is how I like to eat out, anyway!
34Hope they don't charge extra plate fees. That doesn't look like it'd fit in a take-out box.
BARFFFFFF
35Eww,thats repulsive.i would never,ever eat that.
36That looks so GROSS!
I like my food simple.
That is just nasty!
37OMG!!! When I stayed in Pittsburgh, I got hooked on fried oreos
38@ the waterpark and "The O" fries. Daily @ the O, there was one on CMU's campus. Yay for greasy spoons. Reminded me of the Coney Islands here in Detroit.
I would if it weren't for the fact that it looks revolting.
39ok minus the slaw and tomato- just cause i don't like them. but out my way we have what are known as the "Fat" sandwiches. My personal favorite is a "Fat Koko" which is a cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, and french friends all with tomato sauce on a roll. OMG i'm salivating right now lol. best drunk food ever. there are like a ton of different versions- even one with veggie burgers. YUM
40I would have it as long as I could split the sandwich with 2-3 other people; too much food just for me! I rarely eat super-greasey/fried foods however that looks yummy.
41Yes and yes, but I need a fork and knife and hubby to help eat it.
42I don't think it looks that good, even if it wasn't huge.
43GROSS.....
44I never knew a vegaterian meal could look so delicious. hmmmm
45That just does not look good to me. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer my sides on the side.
46I'd definitely try it, why not? What do you have to lose?
47But I'd be more willing to try it for brunch or lunch...looks too "heavy" for breakfast.
ohh maaan that's huge. but no i wouldn't eat it. it doesnt look that good to me.
48I would try it at least..but not before picking off the yucky tomato
49Looks tasty! Does that come with cheese, too?
Yes, sadly I would eat the hell out of that sandwich.
But luckily the only time of day that I do crave grease is in the morning.
So that would be perfect for me, or late night after drinking
