10. Did you get emotional when Ramsay hugged loser Petrozza? I would have if they had spent more time on it. I did feel sorry for Petrozza, but his exposure on the show and fanbase should lead to some wonderful opportunities for him. He has a lot to be happy about.
11. Overall, what did you think of this season? This is the first season I have ever watched, and I am hooked now. I can't wait to start watching Ramsays next, show, the nightmares or whatever. I am hooked and can't wait for next season!

I wished P woulda won, yes his dishes and restaurant were more my style, love Gordon watch all his shows here and on the BBC. Christina's mom looked like her daughter had just died instead of won $250,000 and landed a great job.

1. Not really. I think he remembered how much the other 2 members of his brigade hated Matt - so picking Jenn seemed like the less of 2 evils.
2. I think overall, Petrozza did. I really thought that Bobby should have made it to the finals - and that Ben should have made it further than he did. Louross and Corey are great - but I think that Bobby's just better. Calmer.
3. Equally really. I loved the sleak look of Christina's restaurant - but I hated the fake scenery in the windows. I loved Petrozza's homey rustic look - but I hated that wallpaper!
4. I thought it was hilarious. I was a little embarassed for her. That girl's got some serious reality issues. I think it'd be wise for her to leave her stint on HK off her resume...

6. I thought it looked super yummy!! I would have ordered that for sure. I don't think I would have been disappointed either if the waiter came and told me that it'd be lobster risotto either.
7. It's hard to pick between 2 horrible people. Both had major attitude problems last night (Matt's continuous mumblings were terrible, and Jenn's attitude deficiencies are obvious..), and both didn't really pull it together in the kitchen. One doesn't know how to make a salad, and the other can't fry an onion ring?!?!? I think overall, I'd probably say Matt was worse - but not by a long shot.

9. No. She's not a better chef than Petrozza. But - Ramsey's right - she has a lot of potential. Petrozza is much further along in his career - and I think Ramsey wanted someone he could mold.

11. I liked it - but not as much as past seasons. I think poor decisions were made by Ramsey along the way, and that the calibre of chefs altogether was a lot more poor than previous years. Every year - he keeps kind of a flakey girl on for the final 2, and this year, she finally won. Put Christina against Rock or Heather from past seasons - and she's FAR behind. I'll still be watching next season though!

1. I was. I was surprised, and I was sad. I kind of knew it from that point on that he was doomed. I'm also rally disappointed that she was brought back and given so much airtime. I know that Fox has a reputation to uphold or something, but that was too much obnoxiousness.
2. Christina did. Corey is a better technician than Bobby. Louross is faster than Ben. And Matt, on average, is stronger than Jen, on average.
3. I prefer Petrozza's clubroom. I loved the flowers, I loved the sort of cigar-bar feel of it, and I loved the fireplace. I wasn't wild about the wallpaper, but I got over it. The window treatments in Christina's were ridiculous. Who was she trying to fool with those giant manufactured views of buildings?
4. Just when I think Jen can't do anything else to surprise me, BAM. What on earth was she thinking? Not only does this make her look yet more like a complete tool, but then any job interview she goes into, people will ask to see that letter and she'll have to stumble through why she doesn't have one. That move was as smooth as sandpaper.
5. Petrozza's, and I would have loved to taste it. There are too many frou-frou sliders on menus, and the coconut sorbet dessert on Christina's side looked like soup when Gordon tasted it.
6. I actually thought it looked amazing after it was re-tooled. The first look seemed pretty much like he mashed a lobster.
7. Jen. Matt is a controlled dysfunction - you kind of know what he's going to screw up and you can plan around it. Jen can infect *anything*, and she did.
8. Quite. Fox does a great job of building and building to a crescendo, but when you finally get the result, it's a whole lot of nothing.
9. I don't think so. Based on the night's performance, she had a stronger team, played it safe with the easier menu and she *still* had food come back. Gordon picked her for long-term reasons and, while he was a little coy about it, he did essentially say as much.
10. Not really. I don't tend to get emotional over such things. I was happy to see him get some recognition at the end, but it didn't crack me up.
11. This season was played much more like a game than previously. The personnel had too much character and not enough culinary skill, for my liking. The cream rose to the top, yes, but it was a hard slog.

I think that picking Christina was the *right* move for Gordon's kitchen, but I don't think it was the right decision for the outcome of the show. Petrozza was on fire, and he got hosed anyway because Christina was the better long-term prospect. I'd love to see Christina's reaction when she finds out that the "executive chef" position is just a job title. And I want to interview Jen for a job, just so I can ask for that letter.

I was kinda cheer for Petrozza. He seems like such a good guy and at the end he really showed how strong he was. Oh well...

I didn't see the first 2 seasons but I liked this one almost as much as the 3rd which was what got me hooked. I did not like the season 3 winner, Rock, either. He annoyed me quite a bit. I am pretty used to being let down by the winners on these types of shows so I watch for the journey not really for the winner.

I thought I was into cooking/reality shows - some of you watched very closely (as did I); love reading your articles and agree with most everything. I'd love to know where Petrozza ends up, keep us informed Party, please.

I'm finally catching on to the fact that GR doesn't seem to want chefs with experience, it seems as though he wants chefs that will look good. Christina would be an asset to the restaurant and has a great future ahead of her, but Petrozza has work experience that can be used right now. I really hope the future brings Petrozza all the good things he seems to deserve. Long live a true gentleman! Now, if I can keep from spoiling the ending of this season for my husband, I will be lucky!

So I guess Chef could see Petrozza as hard to change. Chef keeps his kitchens looking darn near perfect.

Yes, I think she did. Petrozza may have the experience, but he hesitates too often and seems to be indecisive. He is a nice guy and I wish him all the best, but I don't really seem him as commanding much authority/respect.

I got emotional when I saw who opened the door. I was happy for Christina, but sad for Petrozza. I think Ramsay was more certain about his decision than he let on, but he has a lot of respect/affection for Petrozza... so it was hard.

Overall, what did you think of this season?
I think this is the only time I actually watched a season of Hell's Kitchen all the way through. (Thank you, Hulu!) I'm convinced that any show Ramsey does will be interesting. I can't wait for Kitchen Nightmares to come back!!!

I don't think either one of them were fit to win, but if I had to choose, I would have picked Petrozza. I just didn't see a clear-cut talent this season.

I love the BBC channel bc it has kitchen nightmares and its way better because it is english and they can get away with a lot more on TV!
