why bother? you can get a REALLY nice grill pan for that price.

2Man, I wouldn't not get this. I agree with dmtroyer, a grill pan will do, but, also a barbecue.
3If you must do it indoors..I have had several indoor grills but they are all gone, and I still have my Le Creuset cast iron grill pan.
Some people find it hard to clean but I find that is totally not the case with a bit of common sense and prep.
Plus with a grill pan you can SAVE juices, sauce runoffs, and any fats that you want to use to rebaste or reduce into amazing sauces.
To make it easier to clean, once I have removed the food and any sauce I want to keep, I just pour water onto the hot pan as if I am going to deglaze it, but leave it there until it cools and scrub off with a kitchen brush or sponge. I never have problems getting it clean.
I never put it in the dishwasher, I simply let it drip dry and then brush a bit of oil on it for the next time.
