How to Host an Argentine Asado
Deck Dancing
In Argentina they don't eat dinner until 10 p.m., so we served our asado late. Instead of making a specialty cocktail, we poured
Malbec and beer. Dinner was followed by deck dancing and a rowdy game of flip cup!

Yummy!
This is so cool!
I should really host one someday. And also go to Argentina, sounds like such a fun country.
1what are the traditional drinks?!?
2Wow this looks fantastic! I'm dying for a bbq now!
3The melted cheese would have done me in!
4The most important thing about the asado is to be in the company of your family and friends!
5Haha, is flip cup a traditional Argentine game?
6Well I have been in Argentina and to a few asados and they would not be made on an electric grill but over an open fire with a grill over it or maybe a grill with coal.
7Also the meat is never in small doses but usually one big piece of beef or even a whole or half a sheep and maybe a few sausages to go with it. Vegetables I've never seen at an asado, only salad.
So this is more of an argentine inspired barbecue then an asado.
