3I grew up in Oklahoma where noodling is a common activity but always disliked the almost-dirty taste of local catfish. Recently I visited my mother in Mississippi and ate some of the most tender and delicious catfish ever!
4My dad is a big hunter and fisherman and "runs catfish lines." There were lots of fried catfish avaliable in my house growing up. Once I realized how dirty the fish is I gave it up. I couldn't bring myself to putting trash fish into my body any longer.
5Wow I've never heard of catfish curry. But I love me some fried catfish. Mmmm.....
6Hushpuppies are basically deep fried cornbread. Mine are quite fluffy and tasty, if I may say so myself.
