For me, it really depends.
What kind of fish is it? How is it prepared? I love fish, but it's gotta be fresh, and I prefer grilled or baked, and if it has some sort of a creamy sauce on it - bleah! Gross! No
thanks!
And the chicken... same thing. White meat, or dark? Fried (gross), or baked in some sort of marinade?
In all seriousness, it just depends on what the actual dish is (and what fish is being offered), and how it's prepared. I'm very picky about ordering fish in restaurants because it's so often
ill-prepared.
I've been served badly prepared fish so often that I am very leery of ordering it. On the other hand, I am a total chicken maven. My husband chortles over the idea that I will order chicken
at a seafood restaurant.
I'd probably go with chicken. I eat chicken mainly.. but I mix it up with fish, shrimp, and steak, oooo and turkey.
..I'm really weird about fish and shrimp though. Only eat it Sun-Wed.. (since I spend most of my alone time w/my husband on the weekend.) My nose is so sensitive so I can't stand it when
people eat onions or too much garlic or anything funny. It's kind of that whole you are what you eat type of thing... people don't realize what they eat comes through their pores and
bloodstream ..and can be very stinky.
I'm' a vegetarian - so I'm voting for neither and i';ll just have the sides. i think that back in the day - it if was salmon -t hen i would have fish but if not then it would be the chicken.
i guess i have to think about what i'm having at my wedding - since i'll have to have options.
It depends on the fish and how it's prepared. I like my fish grilled or broiled most of the time. Chicken is pretty win win for me, but I prefer a good piece of fish over chicken any day.
It depends on what kind of each if its Salmon v. Chicken leg (or other dark meat) than Salmon wins if its Salmon v. chicken breast than it depends on how its cooked or both are good kinda
like surf and turf
Depends on how it's cooked, and also where I am. If we are at a restaurant known for it's seafood then I would get fish. I feel more comfortable cooking chicken, though, so I eat that a lot
more.

This soup ends up being a good source of three blood pressure-lowering minerals since the milk adds calcium and the potatoes deliver a dose of potassium, as well as magnesium.
I never used to eat fish because I hated the smell of it. I will eat it now, but most of the time I still prefer chicken.
1I like fish but I love chicken.
