Tonight I'm off to a Giants game, and I'm already trying to figure out what I will eat while watching the game. Garlic fries? Nachos? Chicken strips with ranch? Oh, the possibilities are endlessly delicious! What do you like to eat at a baseball game?

I LOVE HOT DOGS. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Enormous hot dogs slathered with all manner of disgusting, chemical-based condiments (liquefied fake cheese, I mean you!) are the way to my heart.
I don't really like going to sporting events, but the food sort of makes up for it.
Ate at the phone park (ATT, Pac Bell, etc) last night and had the Chicago dog with all the fixins. Not quite right but pretty good.
Wait, what the heck are garlic fries? Why have I never heard of them? Possibly not a Midwest thing, I guess? They sound awesome, so I'll vote for them.
In Baltimore we like our fries covered in Old Bay and slathered in Cider Vinegar. So delicious, but I love peanuts at a ball game.
I'm all over a Chicago dog "dragged through the garden." mswender, those Baltimore fries sound delicious! I'm surprised my husband (Baltimore family) hasn't mentioned those! He smuggled cans of Old Bay to Chicago when we moved out of the area!
I always get nachos with jalepenos and share so I feel slightly less guilty about their deliciousness. Although I have had the garlic fries in SF and they are pretty darned good.
NACHOS!!!!!!
Cotton candy!!
In NY we like sausage and peppers at our baseball games...at both Shea and Yankee Stadium
Mom2 garlic fries are exactly how they sound: fries with bits of garlic sprinkled all over them. SO YUMMY! I get them EVERY time I go to a Giants game.
I also like the clam chowder in a bread bowl. They had fried calamari a while back but I haven't seen it lately
And BEER!
too hard to choose, but if i had to, definitely an all beef dodger dog. and then followed with either garlic fries or nachos or both! and then of course ice cream in those little plastic dodger hats. think blue!
Boooooooooooooooo Dodgers!!!!
Hot dog with only ketchup and nachos with peppers on the side. I just eat and try not to think about what I'm actually eating. I would never eat this junk at home....only when I'm at a ballgame.
well being a vegetarian and not really into junk food - i have to say beer is still my favorite food even though it's not a food. there's enough substance to it that i consider it food-ish. otherwise - it's fries...that's about the only think that i'll eat.
Thanks, bluesarahlou. I did a little research since my post and found a picture on flickr - they look yummy. Here I thought it would be more like a sauce, similiar to cheese fries, but a garlic sauce. That sounds good, too, actually.
It seems like I only ever eat hot dogs at stadiums, so I guess they would be my favorite!
I will only eat hotdogs at actual baseball stadiums. It is the only way to go. Also, whenever I am in Minneapolis and I see a Twins game I get Kettle Corn from the stalls outside the Metrodome. A treat for myself.
The Ben's Half-smokes at Nationals Stadium was pretty good. But good old Fenway Franks, both terrible and wonderful at the same time, are a must-have. Peanuts too are a comforting reminder of baseball as a kid.
And beer. Lots and lots of beer. I will say that I'm not a fan of the "so cold I can't feel my hands" aluminum bottles.
garlic fries and beer. dude at&t park has churros? go giants!
Please...no ketchup on the dogs. At the phone park you can get something different to eat at each game of the year because there are so many different places. If you sit in the field level or club level seats there are even more options. Last night I had a to order carved corned beef sandwich with garlic fries. Garlic fries and Giants go back so many years that they are now a smell that you associate with baseball.
Seriously, there are so many good things at the Giants stadium I have a hard time deciding
Beer.
Where's the knish on the list? A knish and an iced cold beer is heaven!
Garlic fries are the best at the ballpark! Mmm...and I also love peanuts and sometimes I get pizza for my "main meal."
Oh yeah, I have to agree with others above. The food is the BEST at AT&T Park. Go Giants!!!
I love all the them.
you can't forget about Crackerjacks! hellooo
and being a Bahstonian, at Fenway we have these Cold Dogs (the opposite of a hot dog) but its ice cream on a pound cake bun and you can have any toppings like a Hot Dog. It's another fav for me at Fenway Faithful.
I love them all, especially churros and cheese fries.
ambie_white - Wow a "cold dog" sounds sooo good.
The St Louis Rams deliver the food to your seats and you can order from a menu! I loved the apple cinnamon pretzel, but I voted for nachoes. God, I miss the city!!!!!
Booo Dodgers! Go Giants! lol. I guess I'm a bit of a purist. I refuse to order "fancy" food at the ball park. When I go to AT&T park it's either a hot dog or Sheboygan (a very delicious brat), garlic fries and a beer. The only other things I might get are nachos or peanuts. I think last year I did get pizza when we were on the club level, but I was pregnant and wanted to eat everything. We have yet to go this year.
Hopefully soon before the season's over.
I'm from Chicago. At Wrigley it is BBQ pork nachos and an Old Style light, and at Comiskey it is a bratwurst with grilled onions, elotes (corn w/mayo, salt, lime juice, chili powder) and vodka lemonades. Yum.
I'm with you milo, I haven't been able to go yet this year. Sucks!
i'm a fry-o-holic.
It's too hard with the baby and all, as much as I want to take him I worry about him well being a pain in the butt. lol
CORN DOGS!
