The ranch must be really good thick ranch DON'T bother to do it if you are gonna use light! It can be delish if you are in the mood.

I've tried it, and it tastes fine, but it's not my preference -- plus it's a lot of unneeded calories added to the already not-so-good-for-you pizza.

Plus, I'm super picky about my pizza. If it's not TRULY New York style I tend to shy away from it. There are WAY too many places that claim to be NY style that really aren't. Growing up in the tri-state area has spoiled me rotten! Mmmm...

Actually in Michigan people put ranch on everything. I think some people would bathe in it if possible.

I only dip if it's real crappy pizza....being from Buffalo we have a tendency to eat pizza with bleu cheese as a rule. If no bleu can be found, then ranch is the runner up.

I only do it sometimes...I have to be in a mood, and have good ranch from the pizza place...I never had tried it until college when one of my dorm mates ALWAYS had ranch on her pizza.
I thought it was so weird...but a few years later I tried it, and it was goooood.

if i'm having really good pizza, no, but the other day my boyfriend burnt a delissio pizza so we used it on that! and also cheap nightime takeout pizza after the bar always needs it too!

I don't, but that's all my kids (and all their friends) have done for years. They use ranch with their french fries too. They go through bottles of it at an alarming rate: I currently have 7 bottles in the pantry. I always buy the 'light' variety, condsidering their rate of consumption.

I'm not a fan of ranch dressing. To me, once you dip something into it, all your getting is different textures and ranch flavor. Doesn't make a difference if it's pizza, carrots or concrete. All you're tasting is ranch.

I never eat pizza without ranch. Unless it's a specialty pizza. That's a rare occasion though.

If I am at a chain pizza place with the big crusts there is no other way to finish your pizza! But gourmet or homemade - no way!

Depends on the quality of the pizza and the level of indulgence I feel like I can take. In college, I was really into the ranch on the pizza though... Papa John's at 3 am...

Oddly enough, I only do this with Pizza Hut pizza. It's good if you're craving junk food. I hardly eat pizza otherwise, much less with ranch. Waaay too unhealthy. My brother used to always eat his pizza with ketchup. I never understood that one.

I was raised on Abby's Pizza, sort of a southern Oregon institution. They call it "white sauce" but it's ranch - and EVERYONE eats it that way. I only eat ranch on Abby's though...it seems wrong on other pizzas.

Oh, yeah...I grew up eating pizza like this. In elementary school, jr high and high school everyone ate pizza like this- it was the only way to eat pizza. I put pepperoni in salad and it gives a similar effect with ranch. mmm...mmm..mmm...
