While I have several baking spatulas, I only have one flipping spatula. This has started to drive me crazy because every time I need to flip a fish fillet or gently turn over a grilled cheese, the spatula is dirty and I risk burning my dish while I hastily wash the spatula. I asked you to help me solve my problem by searching the Internet for this long, durable kitchen utensil. You looked for spatulas in all shapes and materials. You bookmarked them in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag, Flipping Spatula.
I love this wire spatula that Steen discovered. It has no sharp corners or edges making it ideal for easy flipping. It's also dishwasher safe! Check out all of the spatulas below.

i've always wondered about getting the spatula that has the 2 flat plates so you can pick up the food and delicately flip it over. do you think that it would be beneficial in place of one of these? i'm trying to get educated opinions here since everyone i ask at home says 'get whatever you want'
1Ilanac, I think that type of spatula has certaily a place in the kitchen, wonderful for flipping fish, any type of cakes/patties etc. If you are one of the people who like having one utensils for more than one task then the typeof spatula you mention is not good..imagine flipping eggs and spaashing all the yolk! But if you are like me, a nut for spatulas
, then you'd have that one plus so many others for different tasks.By the
way, I have all those featured up there....told you I'm a spatula nut!
2Grrr, sorry for typos, trying to do too many things at the same time!
