I don't know if you've noticed, but there seems to be a real trend in wonderfully cutesy molded cakes. And leading the way in the molded cake parade is Williams-Sonoma. For the last few seasons, they've come up with some great pans (train set, football stadium, ice cream cones) and now they've got one for an adorable classic Easter bunny. Just bake the two cake halves and join them together with frosting. You can then use colorful frosting and candies to give your bunny a full look, or just dust with powdered sugar. I don't know about you guys, but I'm wishing my kitchen had room for all these charming cake pans. This Bunny Cake Pan seems too cute to pass up. Made by Nordic Ware in cast aluminum (for even baking) with a nonstick surface - $36.95.

That's one impressive cake!!!!!
1I don't know, there's something creepy about it...
2hahaha i agree ccsugar. i love the whole idea, but i could never eat that cake. lol
3it's kind of odd to eat a photograph cake. my sister's boyfriend had one once and no one touched the part of the cake that pictured his abs! lol
4but a 3d cake like the one above? instead of "who wants a corner piece?" you'd hear, "who wants the ear? anyone for the hind quarters?" too weird!
i don't know. it looks like it could be tasty but i wouldn't go out of my way to make one of these.
I wonder how you would go about cutting it into slices...
5you know it looks great in an expensive tearoom but my nephews might cry if i start cutting it
I still think it is quite fabulous.
6and i know i'm terrible, but i'd rather that bowl of jelly beans be places somewhere else in that picture . . .
7ha ha
llendril -- I think it's too cute to cut...
