Slow Food Nation Highlights: Street Food
One of my favorite attractions at this weekend's
Slow Food Nation was
Slow on the Go, the tented market where vendors sold gourmet, ready-to-eat food. Like street food, the offerings were served out of carts and stands, but unlike typical fare, signs explained exactly where each ingredient was from. Here are a few of my favorite moments.

Wow looking at those pics so close to dinner time is a bad thing, now I'm seriously starving. I'm so jealous. It all looked so good.
1i really wanted to go!
2Slow on the go? I'm having a little cognitive dissonance here. Doesn't "slow food" mean sitting down and enjoying a meal for three hours minimum?
Ah, but really it doesn't make any difference to me as long as the food tastes good.
