While 64% of you would not like a kitchen designed by a fashion designer, would you consider eating in a fashion designer's restaurant? The restaurant I'm talking about here is Dolce & Gabbana's Gold which opened last October in Milan. Italian powerhouse duo Dolce & Gabbana are known for their overly sexy signature leopard-printed look which carried over into the ornately decorated dining spot. Mirrors, metallics, marble, and lots of gold details make up the watering hole's interior which consists of an upscale restaurant, informal bistro, coffee room, and lounge bar. The menu offers Italian cuisine classically made in traditional Mediterranean style with only the most superior of ingredients. Food to go is available and packed in chic little gold doggie bags and boxes. I don't know about you guys but I may have to check this place out the next time I'm in Milan, after all I could just go for an espresso or cocktail. What about you, Dolce & Gabbana Gold restaurant: love it or hate?

Love it! It looks unbelievable! It would be fun to eat at but I'm guessing its rather expensive.
I love it! But I probably could not afford to eat there.
gold doggie boxes and bags? oh my
its a little too shiny, but i want to eat there to see how the food is
I don't usually like foods that are that expensive. I would feel a bit uncomfortable, because its so fancy
lol - for some reason I can see Goldmember from Austin Powers rolling up on his skates to take my order
ick, its all a bit much for me.
Exactly! I so saw Goldmember. Eh kinda tacky.
It's incredibly tacky- Donald Trump tacky. So overdone- I can't believe people could be impressed with something just because its shiny and gold. Fashion designers should stick to what they know, but they figure they can sell anything if it has their brand name on it- sad thing is, they can.
D&G is just not my style. Now if the food got a great write up I might give it a try, but based on decor...no way.
i would not eat there. the glare would be disturbing when i'm trying to eat. but i am not big on flash. i also don't like gold bathrom fixtures, more a low key type.
HAVE to eat there at least once!
Isn't there a better way to spend money than creating a restaurant with gold detailing? Charity, folks. Not to be all Angelina here, but third world children could really care less if they eat out of a gold doggie bag so long as they have some friggin' food.
Woah, this is too much.
whoa there, just the name blows me away.
will HAVE to stop by this one on my next trip to Milan!
