A while back, you told us that you love oysters. We do, too! My favorite way to enjoy them is on the half shell, with a little bit of soy sauce and green onion. I have friends who will only eat cooked oysters, though, and I know a few people who prefer to eat them with no dressing whatsoever. Tell me: how do you eat your oysters?

Generally with cocktail sauce and a little extra helping of horseradish. I also like them naked to get an idea of how the oyster tastes (especially when having different types at the same time).
1cocktail sauce. Although i have a friend who likes tartar sauce with them.
2I've actually never really had them. I've had plenty of opportunities.... just figured I wouldn't dig them. My grandparents love them though!

9I do like a mignonette sauce, but the best, in my opinion, is raw and plain. Just the true flavor of the sea. Mmmm...

17I like them too many ways:
~ raw with a squeeze of lemon; a dollop of horseradish and a drop of cocktail sauce;
~ fried;
~ grilled;
~ boiled in with a whole lotta other seafood (i.e. a seafood boil);
~ cooked up on a pot of oyster stew;
~ cooked up in a batch of oyster dressing;
~ in a shot glass with tequila and lime juice;
~ in a shot glass with vodka and cocktail sauce;
~ nekked
Probably my least favorite is Rockefeller, but it could be I haven't had it prepared well. I'm pretty much willing to try oysters any way prepared. I've never tried with soy sauce and green onion either - may have to give that a whirl~

28I LOVE oysters Rockefeller! I will eat them anyway they are tossed at me, as long as they are cooked. Raw oysters are one of the very few things in the world that I just can't eat.

31one of my favorite foods. i like them most with lots of lemon and a lil bit of cocktail sauce but just lemon is also delish since cocktail sauce sometimes overpowers the taste of the oyster itself....mmmm i want oysters now!

36i don't eat oysters. i've never been a fan of them, even before i stopped eating any meat/fish/chicken. i think that they scare me a bit..and are just NOT my thing.

38I love fire roasted oysters with a little garlic butter and a piece of bread to sop up the juice. Yum!
39Oh my goodness. You just reminded me that I am due for some oysters. I haven't had them in what seems like forever. I like mine with lemon, a couple drops of tabasco, and lots of salt (I'm a bit of a saltaholic). Mmmmm...delicioso!!
