2007's Favorite Chain Restaurant Is...

One of the things we asked about in our Best of 2007 coverage was your favorite chain restaurant. The votes were all over the place, but the two lead choices were PF Chang's and The Cheesecake Factory. Both strive to bring an upscale dining experience to everyday life, and both have tasty mains and great appetizers. However I think it's the thirty cheesecake options that sealed the deal for The Cheesecake Factory. From Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel to a simple Vanilla Bean, they've got an option for everyone.

I love The Cheese Cake Factory. I always leave room for dessert. The food is terrific but the Cheese Cakes are excellent. So many to choose from , tall slices not to rich and creamy but not to light just right I think. I love them..!!

for special occaions i tend to go to the cheesecake factory. i normally enjoy it. though, today we are planning to go to pf changs.. any food suggestions?

The Cheesecake Factory in Canada sucks. The service is always horrrible and the food is only mediocer at best...plus one time my boyfriend had a huge disgusting hair in his food...YUCK!

Cheesecake is fine if you want to wait on line for 2 hours. Nothing special to me about PF Chang's.

cheesecake is fine, if i were drinking my dinner. their well mannered dirty martini is tasty. their food menu is too big and suffers from being unfocused, nothing really stands out to me, it's all just okay.

I've been to the CF twice. Both times I was overwhelmed by the menu, underwhelmed by the wait staff, and mildly satisfied w/ my meal. So, I guess you could say I like it, but don't quite understand this ranking.

Pretty good. They jut put one in the nearby mall, so I don't have to drive 30 minutes to get there, which always makes the food better. Their cheesecake menu is huge, but they should expand on the regular menu, or atleast change out recipes every one in a while. I think all restaurants should attempt to rotate their menus every once in a while.

cheesecake factory is gross. they hide meat in basically everything, and it's overpriced. i have tons of local places here that serve all natural, organic food for way cheaper!

I like the CCF's cheesecakes for special occasions, but I agree with the above that their portions are huge and I find they use a lot of salt in their dishes. I've never been to a PF Changs, even thought there is one near to where I live.

CCF is good but their portions are outta control...nut I love their cheesecake...a couple bites at a time and it will last you a week...YUM! I'm just not a huge PF Chang's fan...

I enjoy CF, while the portions are huge it was fortunate for me in college because I'd meet my mom there and get all of the leftovers! I do highly recommend their Pasta Da Vinci it's one of my favorite restaurant dishes!PF Changs are definitely good eats too!

Cheesecake Factory is good but yeah, the portions are out of control. Not a place you can eat if you're looking out for your health/diet.

PF Changs should win by far!! They are way better. The Cheesecake Factory is so generic and so crowded and there is way better food out there. It's just somewhere for the fat people to feel better about their portion size!

The Pad Thai dish is really good, but the dish is huge!!!

No. Cheesecake Factory's menu is overwhelming. Lots of choices but not very good. The cheesecakes are the same. Too much, too rich. I agree with Like To Cook - keep it simple!!!

I've been to the Cheesecake Factory once. (not by choice) GIGANTIC portions of food and not very interesting. The different flavors of cheesecake were scary. Why mess with such a simple, delicious thing as good ol' New York cheesecake?

I love cheesecake, but I agree that their overall menu isn't the best. One of my favorite chain restaurants is Longhorn Steakhouse. Love it. I also agree with CC Sugar that PF Changs is pretty great. I love Asian food.
