Another year, another host of food trends: this year was rife with both the bad and the good. Some, like third-wave coffee, fresh-pressed juices, and a slew of regional burger chains with wholesome ingredients, aimed to take the American palate to the next level. Still others (bite-sized everything, a host of celebrities turned cooking experts) we weren't so sure about.
