Besides the requisite cup of coffee, my favorite brunch drink is the Bloody Mary. But after trying the Bloody Maria, I think I may need to reconsider.
A Bloody Maria is essentially a Bloody Mary made with tequila instead of vodka. While vodka is essentially flavorless, tequila packs a toasted, oaky, tart punch, adding even more kick to a drink that's already full of hot and tart flavors.
I love bold food and drink, so I thought this was absolutely delicious. Hail Maria, full of taste!

Polo Ralph Lauren
Tamaris
Bottega Veneta
I've had both, but hubby was a bartender and he made a mean BBQ'd Mary. Just add pineapple juice.
1How about using that new tabasco tequila you featured two weeks ago? That could be tasty...
2wow - i'm thinking that made the wrong way and the bloody maria could pack quite the punch for brunch. hmm..tequilla at breakfast? that could be a nice change of pace ...for some folks. i'm still a bit skittish around tomato juice though, so this one's probably not for me.
3I have never had the bloody maria - I will have to give this a try in the next few weekends!
4I've heard these are great and if you like Tequila you'll never go back to a regular bloody mary. Surprisingly I haven't had one yet, and I absolutely LOVE bloody Mary's and Tequila. I just can't imagine drinking tequila in tomato juice for some reason?
5I hate tomato juice, but I make bloody marys all the time for my husband who says I make a great one. I'll have to give this one a try for him next time.
6AmberHoney, that sounds like an interesting idea! I'll have to try it sometime.
7Hm. Sounds like it would be pretty good. But I usually stick to my usuals. Don't like to mix things up to much. I'll try it, but Mary will always be my first love.
8Mmmmmm....people look at me weird when I mention a Bloody Maria!!! Thank god I have found someone who understands!!!!
