Apparently a growing trend in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic are beer spas. There, brewery turned health havens, offer spa therapies that allow you to bathe in your favorite brews. Relax while soaking in a foamy tub of beer whose yeast will rejuvanate and cleanse the skin. I don't know about you guys, but I'm adding trip-to-a-beer spa on my list-of-things-to-do-in-life. It's even advised that you enjoy a glass or two of beer while you sit in the bubbly brew - an idea that I absolutely love (seriously the more I think about it the more I wish I was at one of these spas right now!). So how about you, beer spa: love it or hate it?

Hey, if it's good for the skin and I get to drink a pint as well, why not?
1I'm all for drinking it. But have you woken up the next morning to an apartment smelling of that stale beer that accidentally spilled the night before? That has to be one of the worst smells in the world, in fact, I'm almost dry heaving right now thinking of it. And that's all I can think of about the "beer spa." Sitting in a tub smelling of day old spilled beer conjuring up memories of cleaning up the day after all of the parties thrown in my apartment. No thanks.
2All for it, I used to "sweat beer" in the mornings anyway after spending 5 years at Ohio University. Would like a little more privacy for the tubs, and not so sure how I feel about the kiddo in the tub in the pic!
3thats an awesome idea! must be pricey
4Sounds strange. To prevent local friends from wondering if I drink all the time, will try this only on the first day of a very long vacay in Europe. Haha.
5Good question - what's the cost of one of these? And how does it compare to those chocolate spas? Cuz I'd do that first!
6There's nothing right about that!
7im not a big beer fan, but hey id give it a try... and i love that there's a kid in the backround
8yeast + delicate body parts = wierd.
9i'm totally with jendudley on this one.... it's just kinda creepy
10looks relaxing...
11I am so down for a trip to a beer spa...might have to start buy beer more often...lol make my own spa..♥јεήή♥
12This is probably the only way I'd get the hubs to a spa.
13ugh, don't they use yeast to make beer?....doesn't sound like something i'd want my good brewing in
14Not too enticed by this. Wouldn't the spirits in the beer dry the skin? As much as I love beer, I don't think I'd want to soak in it. Can't smell too well coming out of it either
15absofreakinglutely love it!!!
16I don't care for this idea.
17That was exactly my thought, Meearya. That stale beer smell is just not tempting at all.
And I know the alcohol laws are totally different in Europe than here, but is anyone elsee weirded out by the six year old kid sitting in a tub of beer?
18Not for Me!
19Yeah, my first thought was along the lines of yeast not being the first thing I would want to soak in, jendudley. And the thought that they may not change the liquid between people getting in, UGH!!
I was born and partially raised in Germany, so no, the child in the tub doesn't bother me, really. I mean, I wouldn't let my 7 year old step-daughter drink it ... but y'know ... *shrug*
20Yuck it looks musty, sweaty and germ infested in there
21looks nice but yet it looks disgusting....

All these comments are hilarious
23I'm not too crazy about this idea. I'd rather just drink it then be soaking in it...
I wouldn't mind a pint, but actually bathing in beer seems so weird...
24Sign me and my honey up!
