They sure look delicious, but
11. whats with the vegans - like me - amoung us?! They go hungry? (or at least people with food allergies)
2. I rather like spending my money on little coffee shops ran by really thoughtful owners who seriously have better blends and better service, though starbucks always is a little like a trainstation (too loud too noisy)
3. wouldnt it be better spending money on some homecooked/-baked stuff plus more enviromental?!
I had the roll with almond butter yesterday (i'm a vegan as well) It's not bad - good with a soy chai I think it would def be better toasted. The price realy isn't a killer either for $1.60
2I'm horrified by the fat content of some of these items. Of course, I'd rather see Starbucks offering healthy, FRESH options (not faux fresh, vacuum-sealed stuff). I am however, completely addicted to the oatmeal with nut topping.
3I have seen the Viviano smoothies here in Canada, but do you know if the other products will eventually get here?
4i thought the oatmeal had the perfect water to oatmeal ratio. i wasn't thrilled with the toppings or the ice tea spoon it was served with.
5i agree smash, the spoon is ridiculous! but i like the oatmeal. i wanted to try the salted caramel hot choc but not after reading it has 420 calories!
6My local coffee shop, while a little further than Starbucks is so much better. They have Breakfast bagels they make to order for $2.00. Their coffee is much better, and much cheaper. They also have smoothies and hot chocolate.
The problem with Starbucks is that it's too commercialized and over priced. Plus it's all the same crap, and it really is crap.
7I'm allergic to wheat and I can't drink milk, so Starbucks is pretty much out of the question. If they carried anything other than vanilla soymilk (too sweet for an espresso drink) I would go there for the coffee, as its right below my office.
